Tbh I've always wondered what the point of the Gold Cup is if Copa is going to be the regional contest for the whole Americas.

1 -Its not the regional contest. The merged copa's are a special kinda deal to the point COMEBOL had its own in 2015 before the centenario in 2016

2 -Same reason its played every 2 years even in the middle of the qualifiers.

They are going to use the no qualifiers games for Mexico, USA and Canada and we need to help our teams prepare to have 3 copas in the USA (gold 2023, america 2024 and gold 2025)

Some seem to think it's a walkover. 55/45 Argentina, for me.

Definite possibility.

Think all 4 of the underdogs have at least a chance, really. International football can be pretty unpredictable.

Croatia made the final in 2018. What do you mean "weak"?

Made 2 semi finals and the countrys only existed since the 90s. They surpassed the Czechs as the best Austro-Hungarian successor state.

Croatia are a tough match for anyone but you have to remember they tied all the way up to the finals in 2018, all their games in knockout stage went to overtime. And they only won 1 game so far in this WC.

They have a solid midfield but overall the team is clearly a tier below the bigger 6 teams left, along with Morocco.

Croatia is absolutely a threat to win any game.

I´m pretty sure most european fighters played football or tried to before turning into pro fighting.

Most European or South American athletes in any sport likely wanted to be soccer players but couldn't hack it.

Hakeem Olajuwon grew up a massive soccer fan but once he got too big and clumsy for it, tried basketball and went on to become an NBA Hall of Famer.

Steve Nash admittedly likes soccer more but just wasn't good enough to become a pro. So he had to settle for being a two-time NBA MVP and 8-time all-star.

Same with Rafael Nadal, Anderson Silva, etc., etc.

To seriously discuss whether soccer is the GOAT sport is retarded.

The backlash is going to be immense, table mustof been 4 ft high, which is hilarious considering cats willingly jump out of trees...
That height is nothing to a cat. I had a cat that would jump up on things 4 to 5 feet off the ground and then jump off onto hardwood routinely.

The grab is more the issue, but that's nothing too traumatic. More just a dick move.

People think that because mother cats grab and lift kittens by the scruff of the neck that it is okay to do to a non-kitten, but they are mistaken. Grabbing a cat by the neck does put it in a sort of standby mode however, from their kitten programming, so there is some use to it provided you correctly support the body weight

Because almost every young kid tries it the talent pool is simply insane, even at the beer league level you already have a lot of really skilled and athletic guys, and every single league above gets so much better.

That's where the "you just need a ball" part comes into play, not everyone can just try out hockey, in fact that is really limited to a few people in comparison. Or true american football. Not everyone wants to fight for a sport, tennis is not available to every kid etc. etc.
