Because almost every young kid tries it the talent pool is simply insane, even at the beer league level you already have a lot of really skilled and athletic guys, and every single league above gets so much better.

After the Switzerland game his teammates stuck up for Ronaldo. Either hes built up a lot of good will in the past and they are willing to cover up a temper tantrum slide or said temper tantrum never happened.
