I liked Salt.

It wasn't bad, and there certainly are much worse action films. But the criteria was really good, I think I could go as far as saying it was a little above average.

Funny you bring that up because just as I was posting that gif I was thinking that practical blood is always better than digital blood.

I think that for Hollywood films, they should always go practical. But I can forgive digital blood in lower-budgeted productions, since it doesn't require wiring people with squibs and all that kind of thing.

I'm not saying they're not silly as shit. They ARE silly as shit. But I learned to embrace their silliness.

I remember being disappointed when I saw the first one in the theater, but when I marathoned the whole series recently I just accepted them for what they were and it ended up being a fun ride. Paul WS Anderson is, if nothing else, a master visual director. He really knows how to make shit look cool.
