Thanks for clarifying. In combat sports you have to be consistent to be successful. Bob Sap Ko'd Ernesto Hoost twice, and Bob didn't know anything..he was just huge. Bob was still a bad kick boxer (relatively speaking) because he was not consistent. Saying an mma fighter would get killed in kick boxing doesn't mean they would lose to every single kick boxer on Earth.
All you're really saying is that MMA fighters don't have as refined striking technique as pure strikers, how can you expect them to when there is a limited amount of time someone can train? Logically MMA fighters will never be as refined in an individual discipline on average as fighters who exclusively train that discipline.
