Media Fedor's resume (heavy vids)

GOAT. 10 years of domination that lasted even past his prime years. Now at 44 years old he is 8-2 in his last ten fights. Truly outstanding.

Brett Rogers beat former UFC champ and top 5 HW Arlovski. Do you need help figuring out why he was top 10?

Convenient for you to ignore Fedor fighting UFC champs Arlovski and Sylvia. Carwin is Rogers level, and Cain and JDS only became prominent when Fedor's career basically was wrapping up.

But let's be real- you are a shitty troll and you knew that.
I simply said that heavyweight has always been ridiculously shallow. The fact that Sylvia and Arlovski were champs is proof of that. Beating Brett Rogers is not an accomplishment.

Jon Jones beat these 10 fighters in succession:

Ryan Bader
Shogun Rua
Rampage Jackson
Lyoto Machida
Rashad Evans
Vitor Belfort
Chael Sonnen
Alexander Gustafsson
Glover Teixeira
Daniel Cormier

That is much much more impressive than Fedor's run.

lol saying "they all were not good" isn't an argument.

When you consider that Jones was a juiced cheater, that list gets even worse.

Also lol @ Vitor, Chael, and Gus being "impressive wins".
By that standard Babalu and Arona should count as part of Fedor's streak.

Rampage and Shogun were aging too.

Fedor's streak >>>> Juicy Jon beating up a bunch of smaller guys.

I wonder why Jon, a guy easily big enough for HW, cuts weight when it such a shitty division lmao.

He layed and prayed in the Semmy fight. But you can go with destroyed if it makes you feel better.
Lol Fedor ball garglers gotta remind us every day who is GOAT.

Fedor was 33 years old when Werdum submitted him with ease in 69 seconds. He was 34 when Bigfoot Silva and 40-year-old middleweight Dan Henderson knocked him out.

Prime is not only about age, you said Fedor first lost was at 33, GSP retired at 32, Khabib retired at 32, Jon Jones need pulsing steroids to keep fighting and arguably losing at 33 years old to Reyes and Santos, also Gus.

Prime is about age, years of training, accumulation of injuries, operations, and other factors. 33 years old Fedor was already a veteran of the sport, fighting in many mma orgs and combat sambo tournaments.

Not to mention, a bunch of top fighters and top HWs started falling off in their early 30s, often with much less fight wear to boot.
Pretending like its some fluke is ridiculous and indicates a poster is clueless.

... continued

Fedor then rematched top 10 Mark Coleman and destroyed him

Next was top 10 Mark Hunt. Guess what? Fedor won despite a broken foot. Finished him after Mark put up a solid fight

So by my count that's 10 straight top 10 wins from 2002-2007, with 2 coming vs the world's 2nd best HW (Nog) and another vs arguably the most dangerous (Cro Cop). Go ahead and research what UFC HWs were doing in this time period, it's laughable by comparison

Speaking of UFC HWs, Fedor went on to fight top 10 Tim Sylvia (off Sylvia losing a UFC HW title fight to Nog) and top 10 Andrei Arlovski who was on a 5 fight winning streak including a decision over Fabricio Werdum and nearly impossible KOs of Ben Rothwell and Roy Nelson

Fedor won both these fights

He then fought and beat top 10 Brett Rodgers

If you're still following along, it wasn't until this point that Fedor finally lost. At 34yo (EDIT: 3 months from age 34) in his 34th fight, he lost to Fabricio Werdum, one of the greatest HWs of all-time in his own right

And so there you have it. Undefeated, 13 straight top 10 wins (9 finishes) from the ages of 25-34, all at HW.

Fedor did not merely “win” against Sylvia and Arlovski.

he wiped the floor with Sylvia so fast the whole fight is available as a gif

and starched AA leaving him literally asleep face down with his eyes open

This a pathetic post.

During the decade run Fedor was absolutely unmatched, it was insane too watch. Jones scorching the LHW division is the only thing that comes close to what Fedors run.

Destroyed him on the scorecards, which tends to be sufficient evidence of dominance these days. To your point it was a rather uneventful point-fighting win, but I'll give Fedor a pass here considering it was his first Pride fight and vs a ridiculously dangerous opponent. Prime Semmy Schilt makes Francis Ngannou look like an amateur bar brawler and Fedor handled him with ease

Cans sprinkled here and there is still better than fighting once every 16 months

Strikeforce had a better HW division anyway

This is something Fedor stans completely invented out of their asses to justify him not signing with the UFC.

If Fedor's record is padded and a can crusher, so is Khabib's. Half of his resume or more are guys no one has heard of.

Khabib's resume goes how it's supposed to where he fights cans leading UP to his stint to a top fighter. Not WHILE he was a top fighter like Fedor did.

No, it’s objectively true. Fedor, Ubereem, Werdum, Barnett, AA, Sergei, Bigfoot, DC, Grim. It was satisfactory when they landed him, and over the next year it was just flat out better. UFC had a visibly shallow HW division even at the time but it’s a statement that has been retroactively confirmed as Strikeforce guys came over and spanked the old guard. It. Was. Better. Just like Pride was better.

Not to mention, Fedor was NOT a free agent. He was under contract to M-1 and they were selling Fedor’s service. Not his rights. So UFC shills have been living a lie that they could’ve ever landed Fedor without co-promoting with M-1. You can whine about him being bound to M-1 all you want but those were the facts. Fedor couldn’t go to the UFC without M-1 if he had wanted to.

Around the time Fedor V AA happened i think AA would beat big Nog and Handy

That was a huge win for fedor

What? Fedor fought and destroyed top 10 comp after joining Pride. I went to great lengths to provide this info to posters such as yourself

Strikeforce was such the better HW division that their best HW, Ubereem, literally left Strikeforce for the UFC because he couldn't even be bothered to finish winning their Grand Prix lmao.

You guys just keep selling yourselves anything you can to try and justify the nearly 15 years and counting of Fedor ducking the UFC.

Strikeforce and Ubereem contract was owned by the UFC at that point. Why would UFC want a HW just about better than anybody on their roster to continue fighting in Strikeforce if they can just tell him to fight in UFC? There wasn’t an option to continue the GP for Ubereem. UFC bought Strikeforce in large part to poach Ubereem and Diaz..and their brand was growing rapidly...and they had a better HW division
