I don't need to get sick to appreciate health. I don't need to suffer to appreciate good times.

I can go trough hard work and pain that comes with it to achieve something good. But meaningless suffering sucks.

My friend just died because of cancer. He was a great f*cking guy. What good did his cancer bring? F*ck that.

I think religion can be a great thing because religious people try to become better human beings each day, they try to improve all the time, they think about themselves all the time. They don't waste their time partying, not being productive, wasting their time with playing video games or whatever. I just don't think there's any correlation between Fedor losing and him having found God. That's just an easy way for people, maybe his big fans, to explain his "downfall". He's not superhuman, he's no exception. Everybody slows down at some point. It's natural. Don't blame God for Fedors losses, that's an easy copout.

I like how you drifted. It just shows that you understand that we don't know anything yet, compared to what we want to know. Religions on the other hand, just require people to believe that what they are saying is the ultimate truth. Which is lazy and manipulative.

I find it sad that humans need the fear od hell and the promise of heaven to do good. I don't respect religious people who do good, nearly as much as atheists who do good.

Religious people who do good out of hypocracy should know that their God is allegedly allknowing and they can't hide their bullsh*t from it:)

I'm an agnostic- admitting that I don't know sh*t about God. I definitely don't believe in religions, but I keep an open mind. But there is no way I'm going to blindly believe something. F*ck that.

As for Fedor. He very obviously switched priorities when he became religious. Religion made him worse in MMA. He wasn't very bothered by his losses. He fasted way too much and got weaker. He spent way too much time doing religious stuff instead of training. He went from training with top fighters to training with his priest FFS.

Fair enough, I don't know too much about Fedor and what he does in his private life and how this religious migh have affected him. Maybe if he returns now we'll see where he really is. I still don't see him do too much at the heavies, he should just drop some weight and move down to LHW.

At this stage if he stays at HW he needs decent matchups but most top UFC HW's aren't great matchups for him. His sambo won't help him that much against 250 pound wrestlers/grapplers. And I don't see him pushing around punchers like Mark Hunt either. I hope he drops some weight and moves down to LHW. He could absolutely dominate there for a couple years.

I have no interrestseeing the GOAT at LHW. I want him at HW or not at all.

LHW is for those who can't hang with HWs. If he can't hang with HWs then he should stay retired.
 
if fedor can perform at 85% of his prime form he could beat everyone in current mma.

He's not moving down. I'm not sure why, it makes no sense to stay at HW. His style, his size combined with his age, it's silly to stay at HW. Randy Couture did the right thing when he moved down as he got older. At some point if you're that undersized and you are a wrestler or a sambo guy you have to move down. You stand no chance against the top heavies.
 
Jesus he looks huge! I really think he has the ufc on his radar. Imo he believes he can avenge his previous losses and become champ even at his age, probably motivated by Werdum's beat down of Cain

There's not much to it yet but at least that shows the UFC is interested and may have already approached him.

Tough first fight for Fedor if he signs but can you imagine Cain vs. Fedor for a title shot against Werdum at UFC 200?

I wouldn't be surprised if Fedor signs with Bellator and Dana White brings up this rumor and suggests Fedor didn't want to fight Cain.
