Than people are very stupid and hypocritical. Fedor clearly said he was going to have 2 warm up fights to see how he feels before he steps up in competition. He also said he wanted to fight Werdum, but in context, which everyone wants to leave out, AFTER he has a couple of warm up fights. He has also said it's not possible because they are not in the same organization, but that doesn't change Werdum is the fight he wants most.

Werdum has recently said he wants to fight Fedor, and no one is mocking him for it, even though it isn't possible because they are not in the same organization. The turth is, people want to hate on Fedor because dana white told them to a few years ago when they started watching and they obey their lord and savior with cult-like fervor.

He fought Jaideep, because Rizin wanted a HW that's known in Japan, and Jaideep KO'd Sergei, and they had footage of it to use. How are they supposed to market a fight when they have no footage of his opponent?

This fight is in Russia, for Russian fans. Russian fans don't give a shit about Jaideep, and there are plenty of good Russians at HW that he can face. It will probably be Sergei

Before what? He was retired for 3.5 years and made the comment about a couple of warm up fights and then stepping up in competition if all goes well right before his first fight back. He said he would fight in Japan, then most likely in Russian, then probably in the United States. He is 2-0 in doing exactly what he said so far.

Because Zuffa would arrange a good commentary team for Rizin, right? Surely it's worth $10 to hear Zuffa put their spin on the event? Zuffa doesn't deserve Fedor in any capacity. They've shit all over him many times.

The free Chineses stream was actually better quality than the ones fight pass charge you for also.
Their streams are terrible quality.

Rizin promised to make global streams available for all their future events.

Fight Night streams are always easy to find, and with Rizin on board they're sure to get a Match TV deal, if they want one.

2 warm up fights? What did he leave the sport as? Top 15/20 before his retirement. He is fighting the 36th ranked guy in the division below him who really could be a 185er if he was in shape. This isn't even a "warm up" this is another exercise in can crushing like the 4 fights before it. Sad to see someone once regarded so highly take fights like that.
