Fedor ducking Alistair Overeem debunked with nothing but cold hard facts

Very well posted @Claude
His source has them saying if they don't get to choose Fedor's next opponent (who was not Overeem) they will leave SF.
“We are ready to fight against anyone, but everyone agrees that the most interesting fight right now is the rematch against Fabricio Werdum. We have one fight left on our contract, so if Strikeforce wants to extend it, they should listen to our opinion,” Vadim Finkelstein previously said.

Are you stupid? We are talking about SF, where Overeem was champ, and where they both fought in the SF GP and Fedor;s team already said they were picking their opponent ... and they ducked Overeem, again.

lol, I was talking about a K-1 contract you silly. See if Overeem wasn't contractually obligated with K-1 it means he just chose K-1 over Fedor, thus he ducked.

He posted a source where Fedor's team says they are picking their next opponent and they wanted Werdum .. and ended up fighting Bigfoot.

Ducked Reem hard.

lmao, no offense but you're a very strange person. You're obsessively and agressively repeating something that holds absolutely no relevance. Fact is Fedor called out Overeem, regardless of what was previously said by his management.

Or he verbally gave his word. If you think there was no contract you are welcome to provide evidence for it.

You're the one assuring Overeem was committed. So source?

Also Overeem said he made the "decision" to fight at K-1. He never said "i can't fight Fedor because i already signed with K-1". He made it very clear that he had a choice and that choice was K-1.

Also Overeem already had K-1 and MMA fights very close together, which means he could've fought Fedor and still compete at K-1, but again he wanted no part of it.

Cheers.

Overeem is still lying about Fedor ducking him and fighting low tier competition.

lulz

Fedor made somebad decisions in his mid to late 30s with M1, wasting a lot of time, hes now too old and his chin is shot, its what happens after 40, to every fighters.....anyway Its time for Fedor to retire and for us Fedor fanatics to let him go and live his life in peace as he likes to do.

I don't trust anything that comes out of Vadim Finkelstein's mouth with or without Fedor.
He's a damn cockroach.

M-1 flat out said that they didn't want Fedor fighting Reem because they knew he was on steroids. Fedor himself apparently didn't care but his management didn't want it to happen.

This was before Fedor had lost to Werdum and M-1 basically said that if Fedor ended up losing to Reem and he popped later (which he did), that would have been a really shitty end to Fedor's run. Coker did set up the Strikeforce HW tourney with the goal of Fedor vs. Reem in the finals, it just didn't work out. M-1 wanted extra drug testing if it happened.

Fedor didn't duck Reem. M-1 was just looking out for their interests and had just cause for not wanting the fight to take place.

I love Overeem, he's one of my favorite fighters, but someone should really tweet this to him.

Technically it was Fedor's management that ducked Reem.

Fedor's management wanted Fedor to fight a top fighter. Overeem was not. He was unranked and his belt was a joke. All ducking claims before Overeem got a top win are irrelevant.

Overeem eventually had the chance to fight Fedor and he declined.

You can believe Scott Coker then. He made it clear that he wanted to build that fight up.

Or you can believe the guy who said this after he popped:

"I absolutely do not believe in, nor do I use performance-enhancing drugs. I am a clean fighter and I will do whatever it takes to prove this to everyone."

Read this, young ones, and be informed.

For the record though, and it hurts me to say this, Ubereem would've beaten Fedor at that point, especially in the cage. Any other version of Overeem probably gets slept against Fedor, but Ubereem truly was a force of nature.
