Nicked from another website and pretty straight forward, whats your favourite film for every year since your birth? Actually ends up being quite interesting I'd say since some years I ended up being choosing between favourites, others end up choosing stuff I wouldn't typically consider to be right at the top of my favourite films. Eyes Wide Shut for example I'd probably pick behind The Shinning and Full Metal Jacket yet those films came out in much stronger years for cinema IMHO.

1978 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers
    1979 - Stalker
1980 - The Empire Strikes Back
1981 - Raiders of the Lost Ark
    1982 - Blade Runner
    1983 - Rumblefish
1984 - Once Upon A Time In America
    1985 - Ran
    1986 - Betty Blue
    1987 - Withnail and I
    1988 - A Short Film About Killing
1989 - The Cook, The Thief His Wife And Her Lover
    1990 - Millers Crossing
    1991 - Terminator 2
    1992 - Porco Rosso
    1993 - Groundhog Day
    1994 - Pulp FIction
    1995 - 12 Monkeys
    1996 - Bound
    1997 - Grosse Point Blank
    1998 - The Big Lebowski
    1999 - Eyes Wide Shut
    2000 - Werckmeister Harmonies
    2001 - Mulholland Drive
    2002 - MIllenium Actress
2003 - Return of the King
    2004 - Birth
2005 - Thank You For Smoking
    2006 - Apocalypto
2007 - No Country For Old Men
    2008 - In Bruge
    2009 - Moon
    2010 - 13 Assasins
    2011 - Drive
    2012 - The Master
2013 - Blue Is The Warmest Colour
    2014 - Under The Skin
2015 - Mad Max: Fury Road
    2016 - The Hateful Eight
2017 - You Were Never Really There
    2018 - Avengers: Infinity War

Probably the case in the last 2-3 years there's a good deal of stuff I haven't seen yet that might take over, especially this year where I'v not been keeping up much.

Not keen to list fifty films, sorry.

I do really like your choices though.

What kind of person remembers what yr each movie was or possesses a list of every movie from a particular yr?

I now remember my first computer came with free software that had all sorts of trivia/database stuff on movies.

Good but overrated... not as good as Thesis.

    <bball1>

I remember thinking it was pretty average outside some good performances. Can't remember much more though.

Only competition was From Dusk till Dawn, IMO

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person who thought Miller's Crossing was not a good movie. I've seen much better acting from Gabriel Byrne and Marcia Gay Harden.
