Rex making a thread about Miss Russia 2016 in here sealed the deal for me.

Can we get a most hated poster thread, so we can fan the flames in here?
I support this idea.

Doesn't seem to lean Left to me.
I get this a lot. People who lean one way or another tend to think I lean the other when when we get talking. If they're left and they know I'm a gun enthusiast who likes to hunt and tends to be pro religious freedom on many popular issues, I'm a right wing nutjob. If they're right and they find out that I'm pro-choice, voting Bernie, am studying literature in a university, they tend to think I'm a liberal hippy douche. I lean hard right on some issues, hard left on other issues. I say centrist, but I'm not sure what that really makes me, or people like me.
Seems to me that you're pretty consistently on the right, and I figured the Bernie thing is just trolling. I remember your old AV was a anti-Semitic depiction of Sanders. Is that wrong? What do you like about him? What's your position on income inequality?
Been through this several times before. If you want to consider it trolling, fill your boots - I really can't verify who I'm voting for one way or another. I'm not going to give my "political unicorn" and my hoped for precedent setting nature of electing an honest'ish politician speech again.
No, I'm just wondering. I mean, I don't see you supporting any of Sanders' policy positions, and the AV thing was clearly derogatory. I don't see any reason to think that Sanders is unusually honest for a politician. Actually seems that he's pretty reckless with his claims, but I suppose that registers as honesty for some people.
On top of this I enjoyed watching all of you guys speculate about my politics and paint me as this or that when you, frankly, didn't have a clue. Something I find quite amusing is the propensity people have in online political discussion is to associate view/stance X with a wider world view when, strictly speaking, there is no necessary connection. Pro-gun doesn't man pro-Republican any more than pro-Universal healthcare makes one a Democrat stooge. Hold either of those positions, and you will be painted as such. I actually think you're engaging in this now and it still amuses me.
Bernie's policy? Universal health care is the big one and his platform of increased vigilance on corporate activity and a record that suggest he might actually push in that direction rather than just parrot it for votes appeal to me immensely.
Well, that's pretty smug, but really, those things do generally indicate people's positions. Guns are a pretty irrelevant issue in American politics in reality, but some people are super passionate about it as a kind of cultural marker (or because they whole-heartedly consume a lot of right-wing media that presents it as a major issue). And Republicans have vigorously opposed any changes to the healthcare system (and any policy that involves higher taxes on higher incomes to pay for benefits for people with lower incomes), while Democrats are pretty divided on single payer . If you want single payer, and you vote based on that, there's only one choice. In other countries, conservative parties are OK with SP so if you're not American, I can see you being on the right and still a supporter of it.
So single payer and some vague anti-corporate stuff (which doesn't actually count as policy). OK. I get you.
So you're a practicing but not believing Catholic.I was raised a Catholic for 20 years and then turned away from the church for about 10 years. I went back to the Catholic Church because it is something I am familiar with. I am under no illusion that the Catholic religion is the one and only true religion.
@Kafir-kun for quality posts

I thought it was Russian.Ha! You may be joking, but if anyone is seriously confused: He's using similar-looking Latin letters and numerals to spell out Квебекстан СССР, which in Latin would be transcribed Kvebekstan SSSR. It means Soviet Socialist Republic of Kvebekstan (=a Perso-Russian translation of Quebec).
Usually I would assume someone calling their country/state/region/whatever a Soviet republic would be an insult, but I think he considers himself on the left, politically, so maybe he means it in a good way.
