Favorite War Room poster

I'm gonna nit pick you a little, but it's out of love. Catholicism is only a denomination under Christianity, so if you believe in the Christian God, you accept that it's the right religion by definition. No one denomination is perfect, and some are much less perfect than others, but it's still the "right" religion, if you accept the overarching theme.

Unless of course you meant that Hinduism or Islam may be right, or that all roads lead to Rome, in which case, my objection would be entirely different.

@Thames - seems almost impossible for him to make a bad post.

@panamaican - Disagree with him often, but his consistency in argumentation adds a lot to the discussion.

@JosephDredd - His threads bring the crazy

@Jack V Savage - Usually knows his stuff, it's pretty crazy what he has to put up with. Also is far less left-wing than people try to make him be imo. Only wished he also would join an even further range of discussion topics.

@Quipling - It is not often I find myself on disagreement with him.

@Ruprecht - same here, seems to be right in many cases

@Rod1 - engages in a lot of discussions I simply lack the strength to

@AnGrYcRoW - only recently noticed his posts, but I like what I see

@Arkain2K - makes fantastic threads

@theBLADE1 - further left than myself on many topics, but like his stances often

@PrinceOfPain - Hardly ever agree with him, but I love his RSA threads, very interesting stuff

@UpaLoompa - Is this ex-Dochter?? I know Dochter was always pulverizing people in evolution threads. And I liked UpaLoompa's posts lately.

@Overpressure - how can you not like a poster with a Spock a?

@IDL, the conspiracy theorist without backup info, @ripskater the nice Christian who always says 'I don't know about that' when he is losing discussions - never agree with them and many people consider them ginmicks, I personally do not really care because I know there is someone like them out there somewhere in the real world. And WR would not be quite the same without these freakshow types.

@KBE6EKCTAH_CCP - Disagree with him on many things regarding Germany, but on topics where he knows his stuff (Canada, banking) it is always a good read.

@Cubo de Sangre - he owns the place where we will habe our barbecue, so...

@KILL KILL - nice threads!

@M3t4tr0n - often states my opinion so I won't have to

@Kafir-kun for quality posts

@7437 , @Rex Kwon Do - mainstays the WR would be different without

@ucunc156 - quality

Some more I may have forgotten. There are really many people here whose posts I appreciate.

Some folks see a "favorite posters" thread and instantly get excited, for their names may be mentioned.

I absolutely dreads reading them, for the exact same reason.

Why is that, you ask?

Because there's a far worse fate than not being praised by the good posters: it's actually getting praised, by the terrible posters.

Truth is, there are certain folks in the WR who are so completely detached from reality, I'd probably have to sit down and do some serious soul-searching, then run to the liquor store around the corner to grab a box of Bacardi 151 and drink until I forget about their ears-ringing adorsement.

Thankfully, that's not happening here, as both @Anung Un Rama and @JDragon are excellent posters in my book. So I'll gracefully accept their compliments, express my heart-felt gratitude, and sincerely hopes the list ended there! o_O

Soda, Rex, IDL is alright too... Atheist dropped the ball lately.

Also i always liked Ghost`s military stuff.

But I am not really a war room poster, so i dont really know other posters here.
 
I genuinely like Rip, Colby, Codpiece, Don'tsnitch as people(or at least what they appear to be online). I appreciate IDL's point of view but am waiting for him to take it to it's extreme natural end where I'm at. It gets lonely over here. Rex, Athiest, Soda, Space, Pain are always pleasant.

Guys like shinkanpo, 2dumto2tap, mt34tron, and a few others are amusing. LogicalInsanity and FinalRehab are always great to disagree with. I appreciate Jack's consistent dishonest troll baiting. I always look forward to the antagonistic yet completely empty posts of Teenwolf and Kong. JosephDredd and AngryCrow are pretty level headed although I disagree with them alot. KPT, UpaDochtor, Scorpion are always great for twisting your words around but can be fun. FinalFight is hilariously insane. KillKill is a blasphemous heathen but I accept him for what he is.

Apparently nobody likes me lol but thats alright. The war room hated Christ before it hated me.

People forgot to mention you. Just because it's a given. You're hands down the most talented poster on Sherdog.
 
I like most everyone here. Even the people that I disagree with. This is a good group. I've got friends on other sides of the arguments. But there are a few people that have crossed the line when debating with me. But if I give you a likes often, you know I agree that you made a good post.
 
Hey, I actually got a couple on mentions in one of these. I think that's a first.
I belong!

Anyway:
ripskater : I'm not sure if he's a gimmick or genuine, but I like either possibility.
panamaican : Whether I agree with him or not, he's one of those posters I won't go after unless I'm damned sure I know my stuff, and he often argues from a relatively unique POV.
Jack V Savage : Hardly ever agree with him, but I like condescension as a tool in arguments (because I'm a douche) especially when it's backed by solid information.
JDragon : Level-headed, polite, and generally smarted than he seems to think he is. Makes me feel a little guilty when I'm being a douche. I agree with him more than he thinks, we just differ on a lot of details... and I can be a bit of a troll at times.
OompaLoompa/Dochter: Just a really solid poster all around.
IDL: I think he sometimes takes his Illuminati stuff a step further than is realistic, but he's also a lot closer to reality than he's given credit for being.
Atheist: While I think giving the warroom as much information as he has about himself was maybe not the smartest move, he doesn't bitch out when assholes use it against him.

An incomplete list. I frequent the heavies, but I wouldn't come to Sherdog anymore if it weren't for the War Room. I love most of you guys; great mix of posters, opinions and convictions.

Totally forgot about Thames and JD. Both among my favorites, too. Also 7437. Don't want to try a comprehensive list because I'd be sure to miss some posters I really like, especially ones who don't post much (like Higus). As for putting up with shit, it's a badge of honor, really. There's a lot of really messed up people here or buttheaded ideologues, and they pretty much all have me on the top of their shitlist. Seemed like Rup used to have that role, and he's probably the smartest poster here. Not active enough to draw the major hate anymore, though. Oh, and then HOLA had a moment in the sun, and he's a great poster, too.

And I'm pretty far to the left, but I think the more important axes of difference are pragmatism vs. idealism and your theory of disagreement. What I mean is that there are a lot of people--left and right--who have a model of politics where the right thing to do is pretty obvious and unambiguous but it doesn't happen because politicians are bought off/inherently evil or people are being tricked by the left-wing/corporate media--so political struggle is basically good vs. evil. My position is that disagreement is real because there are tradeoffs to almost any policy, and people reasonably enough take different sides. Also, a lot of people are just not that smart and genuinely hold beliefs that don't hold up very well. That puts me at odds with a lot of far-left types, but the reason isn't that I'm not as far to the left of them. BTW, you can see that in the disagreements. I'll note that someone is uninformed, misinformed, or using bad logic, and they'll respond by attacking my motives. Both of those responses flow naturally from our different models of disagreement.

I like you as a poster. I like a lot of posters, but I am too lazy to pull a @M3t4tr0n and make a gigantic list of posters I like.
