Favorite high level chess matches between two chess masters

Frank shamrock and Jermey Horn had a very, techincal fight. It wasn't the most exciting but it was really a good "chess match" so to speak. Horn was quite the grappler and surprised Shamrock gave him all he could handle. Jermey Horn doesn't look intimidating hell his nickname is gumby. Shamrock all jacked to the gills in that fight. It was a good fight to watch for anyone that's never seen it

Actually really like Royce vs Shamrock II from UFC 5 and Sakuraba vs Royce.

I never said i was smarter or better than anyone but real fans will appreciate what is going on in a fight. I don't expect either guy to dive into a power double/huge right hand or an elite counter striker just appease some spoiled fuckers at home.

I personally would prefer some more action but i sure as hell am not delusional enough to criticize just for my entertainment as these guys are in there with elite competition that can end their nights in a heartbeat. A lot on the line with a win or a loss and i have no problem watching a slower paced technically defensive striking match.

I don't have to convince myself of anything by the way as like many others i know every aspect of combat sports and have the proper perspective on it. You are likely in the bottom feeder group and are lashing out and that's fine.
casual - watches very few, usually big fights
guy who thinks hes a hardcore fan (you) - "i watch everything"
real harcore fan (me) - "i know how to differentiate between good and shitty mma and i only watch good mma"

mayweather is chess-like. wonderboy and tyron being scared to engage and displaying 0 technique and skill is fucking laughable that you try to justify and defend

Karpov was a boring ''playing it safe'' positional player, Kasparov was exciting and daring, how the fuck can you like Karpov more than Kasparov lol.
1. because of karpov´s anoying personality

2. IMHO positional chess has it´s beauty

didnt mind kramnik kasparov either - berlin wall is no joke - and kasparov is like the jon jones of mma, undoubtedly great and creative, but with a personality where everyone wanted to see him fall

alekhine / capablanca as well - alekhine was a drunk and too poor to play too much but had the natural calculating ability to beat anyone - he had the equivalent of a 'gofundme' to get the match on - and won
