Sometimes children need tough love. That doesn't make sense. If I wanted my community to suffer I would have voted for Trump myself.
I didn't. But they did. Now they'll suffer for their own stupidity. Elections have consequences.
I ask myself this all the time. The WR is filled with it. Self-hate? Downright masochism? Do you top from the bottom? You tell me, brother.I am Canadian, why would I carry water for someone trying to destroy my country with the help of our leaders ? That doesn't mean I need to blindly oppose everything he does.
Because of Trump's tariffs, lol.Why did they need a bailout in the first place smarty pants ?
I do agree that actual Canadian MAGA can be quite stupid to a degree but that is not me, I have criticized Trump plenty on this forum, whether or not that registers for you I do not care.I ask myself this all the time. Haha nobody loved youI've lived in a conservative farming community my entire life. These people voted for Trump because they wanted to keep trannies out of bathrooms and litter boxes out of schools. They wouldn't vote for a minority if the alternative were a criminal scumbag, so long as the scumbag looked and sounded like them. They are simultaneously the most vocal, and least genuine Christians on the planet. They actively avoid educating themselves on real-world issues, but passionately defend conspiracy theories that confirm their prejudices.
They deserve zero empathy, because they are incapable of it themselves. As such, they absolutely need to feel the consequences of their actions, because that is the only way they are capable of learning (and even then I have my doubts).
i'm well aware. yes many are racist, bigoted, homophobic assholes. many have also been duped into focusing on culture war bullshit. at the end of the day, americans just want an affordable and safe place to live. leftist policy ensures that. saying "fuck you, die then" to a huge portion of the american working class is retarded.I've lived in a conservative farming community my entire life. this is the average condescending liberal take and the exact reason democrats' approval ratings are below sea level. just dogshit counter-messaging, that does nothing but further divide the working class, rather than educate them on what will help them. They deserve zero empathy, because they are incapable of it themselves.
no. it's not. proper countermessaging is how they learn. that's how this has always worked. it's how zohran mamdani won the dem nomination. show working class people you are on their side, because you are, and you will win. every time.As such, they absolutely need to feel the consequences of their actions, because that is the only way they are capable of learning (and even then I have my doubts).
no you idiot. you're in this mess because the democratic party thought "i'm actually gonna be harsher on immigrants", "i support israel unconditionally", and "hey here's liz cheney and bill clinton to vouch for me" was a good campaign. We are in the mess because of the working class who voted for Trump and will continue to vote for people like Trump. F them.
You're stupid as fuck it has nothing to do with USAIDI said months ago that so many depend on USAID for their income, we all know what has happened even domestically cutting food bank budgets letting food persish in Houston that had been accounted for just to be cruel, but literally here we go. Plenty of (sadly) farmers are regretting their vote now and I'm not even remotely FAFO for people wanting to protect their businesses. It's truly fucking sad, and we're only half way through the year.
“We’ve had 259 filings in the United States so far this year,” Loy said. “And that’s just through the first quarter of this year.”
“We’ve already beat last year in terms of national filings,” he said. “Once you see this on a national level, it’s a clear sign that financial pressures that we saw before in the 2018 and ‘19 are kind of re-emerging.”
Making up a bunch of lies so you can shit all over a group of people already down on their luck while simultaneously whining about their lack of empathy is peak WR.I've lived in a conservative farming community my entire life. It's a good thread for posters who enjoy circle jerks and purity teststhis thread reeks of ignorance
As someone who's has worked on farms 10 years ago maintaining a farm alone wasn't possible for most small farmers. 400 head of cattle minimum and 5 large fields with 3-4 crops being rotated was barely profitable at that scale. The smaller you get the harder is to generate income. This is in the rural Midwest where cost of living was significantly cheaper. This has only been exacerbated, and it began long before you guys ever heard about it. Instead you just want to dunk on local farmers not realizing this isn't a Republican or Democrat issue. Democrats are also investing and allowing investors to buy out smaller farms and making local farmers rely on corporate contracts or subsidies despite being able to produce an abundance that goes to waste. Republicans didn't give a shit either, so it's not a party issue. Just like the middle class is being squeezed out, smaller farms are the exact same way.
tl;dr you're all idiots but at least you guys can get like and heart reactions from your feller shitdoggers

and what? they should starve and die? like what kind of position is that?Which of my statements do you think are false? These clowns largely voted for a piece of shit who already fucked them over during his first term. This same piece of shit campaigned on fucking them over again with tariffs, but they're either too stupid to realize it, or too callous to care, because they were just happy that he planned on fucking over people they didn't like, as well.
and working class americans didn't invent or push that bullshit. just because they're susceptible to that propaganda and believed it doesn't mean we shouldn't be working toward making their lives better too.Don't be shy now. Remember, they're eating the dogs and the cats. They're murderers and rapists and lunatics. They're stealing your jobs and poisoning the blood of America. And those trannies are grooming your kids and molesting them in the bathrooms. You know. The real issues facing the country.
if you think the average american is tapped into politics and reads economic/sociological statistics and history, you're sorely mistaken. trump told people he was going to make their financial situation better. kamala didn't. he won because of it. yes, he was blatantly lying, and kamala would have been too if she ran on it, but that's why those people voted for him.The people who didn't support him deserve pity. They deserve empathy. The people who enabled him deserve to get what they voted for. I'd have empathy for them if not for the fact that they were fully aware of what he was going to do, and voted for him anyway.
A TON of farmers depended on USAID for a lot of their income. You're dumb as a rock if you think otherwise. You're stupid as fuck it has nothing to do with USAID
can't wait for your next thread " people will die because of some Trump policy "

So we can't have both? This time last year farmers weren't dropping like flies. Inflation is through the roof definitely not due to the bloke Princess Papaya Pussygrabber put in charge and blames Biden for hiring.Financial pressure cooker
A large part of the pressure stems from the fact that “commodity prices are back at levels where they were in the 2018-2019 era,” said Scott Stiles, extension economics program associate for the Division of Agriculture.
