I’m not sure If anyone else noticed but found it very strange that after Molly retired and was going to have her home town moment in the sun the other team ran over and grabbed her for a pic (where they were all smiling like we just whipped your ass take a pic with us) ruining her glove lay down

You could tell it annoyed her and kind of fucked up the moment

Morale of the story if you want a pic do it in the back because there is a nice still shot with the ref in every fight

She gave us some wild scraps, that spinning elbow KO will forever be one of the cleanest highlights in women’s MMA. Win or lose, she fought with heart, repped Liverpool hard, and always had the crowd behind her.

Yeah, maybe she got pushed a little too fast at times, and yeah, the level difference showed in some fights—but the sport needs personalities like her. She made people care. That’s more than most can say.

Respect to Meatball for stepping away on her own terms. Wishing her the best in whatever’s next—media, coaching, pub brawls—who knows.

Bisping shouldn’t even have done the post-fight interview with her. If she wants to retire that’s fine, but unranked prelim wmma fighters who are only in the UFC because they have the same accent as Paddy Pilblett don’t deserve screen time for their retirement.

Agreed on everything else though. She was bad, only beat other bad fighters, and got beaten by plenty of bad ones as well.

At least she got that UFC title that one time in England lol.
