Oh the irony
Oh dear, now we're getting cryptic :icon_lol:
Oh the irony
Partying shouldn't involve doing illegal drugs, particularly if you're a professional sportsman who is going to be regularly drug tested.
I'm not anti drug and I know it's cool to have a 'whatever' attitude when it comes to them, but i'm sort of above saying things just to try and appear cool.
Oh the irony
Doing coke is a victimless crime, assuming you do it by your own free will. Molesting a child that doesn't want to be molested is harmful to the child.
But yes the comparison of coke to combat sports is dumb but there is a difference when he tried taking it further
Not everyone, thank goodness, needs to live by your standards. Likewise, not everyone needs to put people down while making a point. Nothing I said was an attempt to be "cool". I'm an adult that couldn't care less about internet opinions of me. If anything, you were guilty of that, bub. Be civil or be gone.
UFC and MMA are the victims. They are trying to sell the brand, and big sponsors balk when the athletes representing the brand are less than professional.
What do you mean by living by my standards?
I haven't put anyone down, you'll need to elaborate so that you make sense.

I get that side too, but I think it's a moot point to the non-fans of MMA. They all view the sport and athletes as barbaric anyways. My mother-in-law sat and watched one with me and didn't stop criticizing how dumb they must have been to choose such a profession. Funniest thing about that night was it was the Franklin vs. Silva fight. She didn't have much to say when I got fed up and informed her Rich was actually an old high school teacher. Haha.
I don't need to elaborate on anything. We'll just stop talking to each other now. Cheers.
Telling her the LHW champ tested positive for cocaine, and got busted for dui wouldn't help convince her it is a civilized mainstream sport?
You lost me when you claimed Jones was cool.
And please don't say he's a role model. This is a sports where men knock each other into a bloody mess.
Fu** the UFC. They do enough things themselves that hurt there brand never mind what fighters do. At then end of the day Jon Jones is the champ, he turns up to his contract duties and he fights. Whatever he wants to do in his spare time is up to him. I reckon about 60-70% of people I know take cocaine when out drinking and socialising, and these people range from all sorts of jobs from Retail to The Army.
We all have our own point of reference. I would recon about 99% of the people I know DON'T take cocaine. I left 1% in case there may be a user I don't know about. i guess we should all feel lucky you don't know child molesters, otherwise you might be defending that.
Some fans need to get real with this Jon Jones situation. Okay Cocaine is illegal, but from a sports perspective he's done nothing wrong what's so ever. He's young, rich and cool and with the weight on being a ufc champion on his shoulders there's no surprise he goes out and party's hard. Stop being haters and embrace the champ people.
