We’ve backed up all of our posts with all of the reporting that came out of Ireland over the past 10 months. It’s not based on the WhatsApp groups. Jesus Christ, fuck this thread. Laters

Gets brought up a lot but it’s not really that inexplicable at all - there’s a ton of potential reasons

He’s a psycho and she’s terrified of him...He’s a millionaire and she intends to bleed him...She’s still in love with him....She’s addicted to the lifestyle....could be a multitude of things.

It’s not an indication anyhow of
@DizzyYeahYeah not saying he didn’t but the trolls you’re debating need to understand that most rational people need a little more than some WhatsApp group chats from “insiders” aswell as some Sherdog posts from “insiders”

Wouldn’t be surprised if these guys are just trolls, if you check their post history this is the only thread those guys post on.

just can’t understand how you can’t see how everything fits together. don’t pay attention to the whatsapp messages obviously because they maybe real/maybe fake, but what’s not fake is the obvious interest by the gardia; people that are impartial to criminal cases. also the sexual crimes unit who obviously deal with this kind of thing on an all to real basis think it’s also credible. what more do you need?

obvious sexual injuries (clothes covered in her blood) + her testimony (which they believe is credible) + the testimony of the sex crime unit (injury consistante of rape) connor mcgregors dna (he’s already implicated himself by saying he’s had sex with her) = a pretty open and shut case.

why it’s taking soo long is because 1) it’s ireland which is notoriously slow and 2) it’s a celebrity.

if connor fights soon (not talk) actually fight then i’d say the case has fallen through. remember this is still not even a year ago and we’ve already established how long a normal rape case in ireland can take. this being high profile it’s gonna take longer. now as me and a few others have explained this probably 684874984625 times each let’s just wait and see eh. and as there’s a few talks of fights let’s-just-wait :)

Bro, c’mon - isn’t it obvious that she “did it to herself” for a payout?!

On a serious note, I was reading a tweet under that “Michael o’ Toole” guy’s page (the journalist who reported in June that Conor could be charged soon), and someone was claiming that he’s gotten away with it by paying her off, but that the people of Ireland will never forget what he did to that girl.

I know it’s just a tweet and nothing concrete (unlike the news articles published), but how credible do you think that could be?

jesus, just read that. still i’m sure irish law means she could get done after reporting the rape if she didn’t cooperate. so i’m thinking this is hopefully fake hear say. thinking the people of ireland are in the dark as much as us for an update. people close to connor wouldn’t say and neither would the woman or her family. so these are hopefully rumours spread because of the time span of the case..... hopefully.

I think people need to stop wth this guilty until proven innocent rumor mill nonsense. Sure, hang the guy out to dry if he's guilty but until that point, gossiping like old women is not a good look.

Thanks for the bump and sharing your opinion that if you ignore all the information, facts, reliable statements, etc. that you've decided that he maybe didn't rape her.

In a simple "he said, she said" situation with no evidence, then sure. And it's genuinely heartbreaking that many women can't prove they've been raped. Innocent until proven guilty is a cornerstone of our legal system and society but it's shit for women who've been assaulted.

However, there is evidence that backs up her claims. The behavior fits a pattern. The police and media have made statements that we can rationally infer from that Conor is the suspect. Suspect, not guilty. But again, all the stories that have come out imply Conor is guilty. He has also remained totally silent on the topic. Even once his name was leaked as the suspect he's not said a word. Perhaps his council's advice, but I don't see any reason why at this point he wouldn't at least paraphrase his side of the story if he's innocent.

All I'm saying is I've objectively looked at all the info (and accounted for the fact I have a bias against McGregor) and whilst I obviously don't know the truth, it seems more likely that he is guilty than innocent. Most of us here think that and we aren't saying him lock him up; we're saying he looks guilty and we hope there is a fair trial and justice is served.

The people who blindly ignore all the signs and say he's not in jail and therefore he's innocent for sure are the ones who lack critical thinking. And anyone who thinks the UFC, ESPN, etc would cut ties before Conor is pubically charged are crazy. These are billion-dollar multinationals who don't live by a moral compass. In fact, if found guilty, I bet Dana uses this as an excuse not to pay fighters better. "It's sad, you give a young guy all this money and he goes off the rails".

I also believe Conor wants to fight again. His ego won't let him go out on a loss like that. And yet there's been a hiatus. You'd expect WME to have Conor signed for the NYE card to have a big finish for the year. Conor says he's not retired, but it's almost as if both parties are waiting before another fight is announced. This isn't proof of anything, but to look at everything and dismiss all of it because you think better of Conor's character at this point seems more ridiculous than leaning to the side that he's guilty.

possibly the best comment on this thread.

confusing much lol. dana white would sell his soul, his nan; anything for another mcgregor pay day. no ethics and zero class!
I wonder who this “somebody else” is then. Maybe it’s the same “mate” of Conor’s, who also got that Liverpool lass pregnant. But then it has to be someone who is an “Irish celebrity”, so I’m thinking...Joe Duffy?? LOOL.

LOL, I lack critical thinking? Your so called evidence is dogshit, it would be laughed out of a court if presented, any noob lawyer would be able to tear shreds in the circumstantial nature of it and rightly so because you know shit all about what actually happened when it comes down to it. Now if you want to proclaim someone guilty because of the top class evidence you've gathered go ahead but there is a reason that justice systems in Western countries requires a higher burden of proof.

You clearly don't understand the legal process or why shit like this is important so fine go back to swinging your pitchfork in the mob but don't lecture me on critical thinking when you have none. And for the retards in the peanut gallery no this does not mean I'm saying Conor is innocent, he could well be guilty but you can't proclaim that as a fact before he's even been charged, SMH critical thinking. LOL.

Leave it up to the professionals, they are in posession of all the relevant facts of the case, you are not.

“any noob lawyer”

what i got from your use of words:

lawyer? obviously american.
noob? obviously 12.

doors over there. off you fuck.

LOL so take one phrase out of three paragraphs and use it to dismiss the entire point of the post, you're obviously a legal genius, smh ignorant pleb.

to be honest i stopped paying attention once i read the word ‘noob’ we’re trying to have an adult conversation here so either conduct yourself eloquently or go play with your crayons you spastic.

You don't have an answer for the argument so you use petty shit to dismiss it, I'm sure you pored over that shit I wrote for a typo as well. If you're trying to have an adult discussion address the argument. LOL at you thinking you sound smart in this exchange.
