This is huge.

RTE isn't going to be worried about informing the DPC of a data breach if the data is a forgery and isn't even theirs. If the data is false and the document is fake then there is no data breach.

Combine this with RTEs "no comment" instead of a denial when asked asked about the validity of the document by a reporter and it would appear that the leaked document is in fact legit.

Well the fight was FOUR ROUNDS.
got held for the first round
Got hurt the second round
Won the third round
Got chocked out in the FOURTH
Next time watch the fight not the highlights, like I said.

Did not see anyone crying after the fight, just saw Conor in a fist fight with 3 men after fighting FOUR ROUNDS and getting choked out.
Write that down Hopscotch, because that is how a man behaves.
 
this has been buried now, and will never come out - if it was going to drop it would have.

whatsapp messages mean nothing, in a court of law screen grabs don't exist and a photo of some information from a 'newsroom' piece of paper can be replicated by any person with a piece of paper and a printer... without solid proof or witnesses this has been swept under the rug.

it either never happened or money talks, either way this case won't advance beyond gossip and 'well I heard...' and 'a source tells me...' waffle.

it's been a very interesting read and a horrible thing has happened but I never see anyone being brought forward for it.

That is a lot of interesting information, of course you dont not not know any of it, or something.

Presumably there could be significant physical evidence of sexual assault (aside from DNA) that contradicts the alleged offenders side of the story.

I thought you could be arrested and released without charge when a file was being prepared. And that while detained for questioning you were arrested as a part of the process. I stand corrected.

Any truth to the rumour that an individual went to the police the morning after to make a statement accompanied by a lawyer? And that this tipped off the police as to where the alleged incident occurred as the victim was in such a state that she couldn't name the hotel.

More or less, confirms that McGregor is involved in the incident, and was arrested..

Allthough you're right about some things don't let the hate for McGregor cloud your judgement. The fight was not as onesided as you make it out to be. He lost a fight against a better opponent that's it.

Regarding the tapping.. there is no shame in tapping. Don't be so ridiculous.

And before you start calling me a fanboy.. I was a "fan" when he just burst the scene but his antics along the way made me less of a "fan" by the day. Needless to say that this case has sealed the deal. Let him rot in a Dagestani jail.

I'm from Ireland, living in Dublin. As everyone else from Ireland has said, these rumours have been circulating since the incident happened. I just want to say, we Irish love a good story. Gossip is a massive part of everyday life in Ireland, and stories tend to become far removed from the truth. I would take most of the What's App messages and other rumours with a picogram of salt.

Not defending McGregor, by the way. Innocent until proven guilty. But if he is guilty, may he rot.

Wow. Game - set - match right here. Check mate. This 100% puts it on McGregor as the man in question. Now the question is do we get to hear his side or will they find a way to hush everything up and no criminal trial?

Anyways, this thread is now going around in circles as there is very little new evidence or fact based opinion available. Like others I now suspect that there is a Super Injunction on UK media, on top of Irish media's own laws that those accused of rape cannot be named unless found guilty. But in this era of digital media, both of those constraints will soon be broken so we'll just have to wait til then.

However, the Nevada commission will release its khabib post fight antics report next week, which will thrust Mcgregor back into mainstream news, so that will probably spill over into some public press allegations.
