Tyson Griffin beat RDA after being caught in a nasty calf slicer.

I'm thinking of the kneebar by Jafel Filho that should have taken Mokaev's zero.

One of the nastiest that I can remember. Mokaev's leg was literally bent like a banana and 99% would have tapped out in three seconds. It's insane that he later turned it around.

Pettis had some elite fucking finishing ability with the grappling. Getting Bendo with an armbar is hella impressive, and catching and finishing Gilbert Melendez with a guillotine too was very very impressive. (his only sub loss). Also caught Olives with a gilly.
Pettis was incredible before all his knee injuries.

Cory Sandhagen's second fight in the UFC where he got caught in an armbar for the longest time, looked like he was about to get his arm ripped off, but he survived and finished the other guy with strikes.

slightly misleading, at the time he didn't know it had even happened. the ref had to show him before he believed it.
Sure but he wasn't going to tap even if he kept wrenching there wasn't even a look on his face of pain. Now mir might have beat his ass anyway who knows

Diego Sanchez caught Jon Fitch multiple times in guillotines off Fitch's wrestling shots. Fitch just toughed/waited it them out before closing the round out with gnp/octagon control. Each round played out this way. I remember thinking Diego should've won via submission offense back in the day.

Oh , looked at title and thought this was a Kayla hate thread

That Oleksiejcuk (sp) guy who got his arm broken by Kevin Holland recently. I mean, he lost, but he didn't tap.
