Cops in Canada are usually pretty cool with small amounts of weed. I was caught with two joints and the cop just took them away after putting me in the back of the cop car to scaring the shit out of me haha.

I've had cops take my weed before (This was at 1 AM, a couple hours after Lesnar/Overeem). But this past October I was pulled over for speeding, and the cop smelled dope (I was not smoking, and all I had was MAYBE a .5. It was crumbs). So he tells me I'm under arrest for posession an driving while intoxicated before searching me or offering a Breathalyzer, which I never got. I got a bit mouthy, but the asshole called for back up, and after searching me and finding nothing (they did eventually find the weed in the car), the cop ripped my right pant leg down to my knee. They took my wallet, glasses, iPod and cellphone, kept them in my car and impounded it. I refused a ride with them, so I had to walk home like a moron with my pants half off.

Fast forward three weeks, officer douche bag charges me with resisting arrest on top of the posession charge he initially gave me. I told him from the very beginning I had class the next day and he was wasting his time.

THREE court appearances later, the cops STILL have not handed over disclosure (The amount of weed, the police report, and if there's any dash can footage). All this over maybe half a joint. I also ended up getting my license suspended for a month, despite not getting a speeding ticket either. So I was never given the chance to appear and defend myself for the speeding ticket, because my suppose court date passed without me knowing.

Fuck the police.

Th police simply have to much authority over us. I'm willing to risk it and remove their authority. Thinking that they are going to be there to protect you is a disease to begin with. We need to take our rights back. Cops own us in a sense. They are the most powerful people in the nation.
