Ok. So why don’t they do something? Take a point for the first eye poke and I promise you’ll see them magically disappear. The athletic commissions set the rules, not the UFC.
Video review is a mustThing is, some people will fake not being able to continue after an eyepoke to get an easy DQ win.
What's wrong with the NFL? Some great games this year.
Ok, so no more combos or takedowns or anything that would leave the eyes unprotected, always have at least one glove protecting the eyes at all times, preferably two . Put the onus on the one being fouled, not the dirty fouler or the ref who is supposed enforce the rules. Makes sense. We've gone through this, but again...
The easy fix is to defend yourself and not let opponents stick their fingers in your eyes.
When you look at the best to do it, it really is NOT a problem.
We took for reference:
Khabib had 29 fights.
Islam has had 28.
Merab has had 25.
Khamzat has had 15.
And Fedor had 48.
And out of 145 fights, these men have been eye-poked exactly 0 times.
We then added on to that Georges' 28 fights and Anderson's 45, which gave us a sample of almost 200 fights...
WITH 1 EYE-POKE!
It was the bad one GSP took, but in that case of course, he toughed it out and went on to get the W anyways.

I don't believe taking a point away will make a differenceOk. So why don’t they do something? Take a point for the first eye poke and I promise you’ll see them magically disappear.
Was that the game where they punted on the 29 yard line where a FG would have covered the spread? We know for a fact now, after the Browns game that gambling controls every NFL outcome, Polymarket has the last 13 games correct. UFC isnt that bad yet.
Ufc has major influence. For example I remember when Dana pubically stated Steve mazagatti would never ref a fight again or Yamasaki would never ref a fight again and neither of them have. There gone. Aren't those controlled by the athletic commission?1. The UFC doesn't regulate fouls. But they could certainly revisit the glove issue. It's strange that a 2003 account doesn't understand this.
2. How exactly is betting "ruining the NFL"?
Man, I hadn't really watched football consistently in years before Thanksgiving. Shit was like watching paint dry after watching this last season of rugby. What's wrong with the NFL? Some great games this year.
