Movie studios don't have to overcome the monumental hurdle that is using Frostbite to develop a non-FPS 10 or 15 years ago, or losing most of their best devs and resources to bail out Fifa.

Some people like Andromeda or Veilguard or Anthem after all the post-launch work.. But all missed their targets at launch after tortured developments and plenty of bad decisions top to bottom.

What AAA movie faced the hurdle of something as essential as the literal game engine not working properly, or having to develop entirely new features of the game engine to accommodate something that isn't battlefield?

Remember when the guys who prefer to gargle woke slop were trying to claim superman and fantastic 4 as woke prior to their release because the fought the IPs would carry the movies to a success (regardless of their individual quality) and so they could champion them in this thread.

Henry in particular made a massive cunt of it trying to claim a massive success for superman when it struggled to break even



That’s how desperate they are, trying to preemptively claim movies not even considered woke as they anticipated they would succeed, and then they failed anyway
