The fact that things fail for reasons other than being woke is not evidence that making woke crap is not a bad thing.

I don’t know how you repeatedly fail to understand this, it is a very simple concept.

No one is arguing things can be bad and not woke and they will be profitable. Nor are they arguing that wokeness is the only reason things fail.

If you are determined to argue against the strawmen you have invented, go and find someone to take up those counter arguments, I’m not obligated to indulge in your silliness.

This is an example of targeting an IP to the original intended demographic. I dont think anyone has ever said you cant make products originally intended for a female audience etc. No one has ever said you cant continue to make typically female IPs for women, you cant make Barbie, Wicked etc.

The issue has always been taking IPs originally very male dominated and not over saturated with romance, enemies to lovers storyline nonsense, identity politics etc. I.e. fucking with established IPs like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, predator, Marvel etc and completely ignoring the built in fan base and trying to reimagine the product for a completely different audience that just falls on its arse. Try and turn predator into twilight and thats when you will fail, when you will "go woke, go broke".
