Just because there are other reasons, doesn’t mean shitey far left, social justice warrior crap isn’t also a major contributing factor

I know it protects some of you and your political world view to pretend otherwise. But the stinking failure of Indiana Jones and the dial of wokeness, Star Wars, marvel, the acolyte etc etc etc is absolutely a rejection from the majority of the public of far left politics being inserted into entertainment

I would say old Trek did a way better job in advocating for socialism than new Trek does. The same way Indian movies do a better job with that compared to any American movie even attempting it.

They didn't wreck Star Wars, Andor came out and that was the best Star Wars since Empire. Is a lot of Star Wars garbage? Absolutely yes, for a lot of reasons. That didn't stop Andor from being fantastic.

If you want to make a lot of noise hoping someone hears you, listens and makes better shows and movies, I guess that's fair, but I don't think it will work. I prefer to savor the good stuff and ignore the disappointments.
