Explain to me why Conor is avoiding Gaethje?

He handpicked Cerrone sure, to get back in the win column and not risk injury. But if he slides into Khabib/Tony should anything happen or take a fight with Masvidal/Usman/GSP do you really think Gaethje is a tougher matchup or more polarizing?

I know you can’t use MMA math to determine how the fight goes but Gaethje was finished by two guys Conor obliterated. He is deserving of a title fight but acting like Conor is afraid is a little silly.

Where is Justin anyway? Jorge actually showed up to vegas, had his face up in all social platforms during fight week and got the camera on him while Conor was calling people out, he wants the Conor fight and he went out to get it just like he did with Nate and like Conor did with Aldo, hell even Colby was there for Tyron vs Usman.

If he wants the fight he is gotta get off his ass and stop begging on twitter, the UFC will go with the biggest fight for Conor, if he wants to be that fight he needs to start generating noise, and no eyepoking the shit out of Barboza and stoping Cowboy 6 months ago is not enough, Jorge is the new hot flavor, if he wants people to remember what he did last year he should have cameras in front of him, especially when Conor is in town.

It's because Gaethje is not big enough name to risk his career. And it's a big risk, considering how good Gaethje is.
