Media Ex-fighter with a 5-4 UFC record says Chimaev winning is a disaster

Din Thomas is just a massive Chimaev hater at this point. He has been picking against him and now to this.

You can´t just fight a bum everyday and when you get up in the rankings everyone will experience rankings politics slowing any division.

Why is he attacking RDR? is this guy such a hater or did RDR beat his friends up?

OP tries to shit on Din Thomas, but can't even format a copy pasted article...

Half the forum is picking Khamzat. It's about as 50/50 a fight as i've seen on here.
Yeah but those who don’t like Khamzat seem to be very passionate about it

He is trash. I will never take any of his opinions serious.

Especially anything THAT has to do with Chimaev or DDP. He is dick riding DDP really hard and he was doing the same thing with Whittaker. He is not objective
Din is without question the most knowledgeable analyst working for the UFC right now

I don’t like Din. But he’s right on this one. If Chimaev wins you’ll see a defence maybe once a year or 18 months. No thanks.

5-4 is still 5 more wins that TS will ever have

I think they would, there's no indication that he's getting any special favors.

If he was really favored, they would've just given him a titleshot after beating Burns.

Or at least after beating Usman, where Dana even said before the fight that the winner would fight Strickland for the title.*

*I also disagree that he should've jumped ahead of Dricus just from beating Usman.

He missed weight by 8.5lbs and had no penalty
That’s the biggest special favor I’ve ever seen in UFC

His record has nothing to do with his opinion...Chimaev is a very inactive fighter, finally was given a chance to fight in the US, cant see him defending very often.

I think you're also aware that he rehydrated back up to weigh in for the 180 catch weight, he was down to a few pounds over during the cut.

No penalty? He didn't get a titleshot (which he earned already vs Burns) , and he was most likely forced to move up to MW.

Hopefully Borz won't have problems making weight at MW.

I'm glad he made it to a title fight. He seemed like a destroyer early in his career. Now we'll see if he has champ mettle.

DDP seems like the hardest matchup for him at 185. DDP is strong, has good grappling, and despite sucking wind seems to never run completely out of gas.

Whereas Chimaev has had some issues with his cardio.

He seemed to have a bit of trouble vs Whittaker
He was last to weigh in, and didn’t hit the scale till the last 10 minutes of allowed time, just making the limit 186

Wait, what do you mean 'shit on'? Did you find an attitude in the text or something? I honestly have no clue, so please let me know.

Okay? Nothing that I was angling for at all, but you do you.

Haha, what are you talking about? You're another one who seem to find an attitude or something in the text.
I have literally no idea what is wrong, and yes, I've re-read it several times now. It's just a descriptive text and
actual quotes in my eyes. I may be missing something, I guess?

Holy fuck this is such an embarrassing post to try to counteract your shitty thread shitting on Din Thomas because he has a different opinion to yours.

Your reply is full of questions, backpedaling, because no one agrees to your shitty take.

You're embarrassing.

Din is absolutely right. Id be surprised if he's able to fight once a year. Guys who are highly active and can defend are probably better assets long term

Din is a legend and pioneer of the lighter weight classes as far as I’m concerned. He is also a great leader in the MMA community and has done wonders for the MMA culture in the state of FL. I have trained with and competed against people from his gym. He is also very active in the FL grappling tourneys (at least a decade ago when I was living in south FL). He has a great mind for the sport and has given his life to it so put some fucking respect on his name TS.

With that said his take is pretty on point imo. It is a valid concern.

Doubt we would get a single defense out of Khamhjzzzlatt before he got stripped for inactivity
I am worried Bro will join a group in Syria gets an international warrant like Jolani and gets stripped of his title

The most recent statements from ex-fighter (5-4 in the UFC) and current 'analyst' Din Thomas has sparked debate and discussions among fans about his honesty.
One MMA personality online, with 39000 subscribers on YouTube, has now responded with a video where he breaks down all these latest takes from Mr. Thomas,
while commenting on how in his eyes, it's mostly flawed logic, delusions and contradictions stemming from bias. Take a look for your self - enjoy!
