If you were watching the interview of Fernando Lopez in Ariel Helwani show he told some interesting things

- Francis have never paid the gym fee in 4 years (600 usd per year)
- Francis did not want to promote Cyril Gane to the matchmaker, he just told them he was so-so
- Francis did not want to assists Ferando Lopez daughter with a situation at the airport since she asked him to lend money and promise to send it back

So that means, Francis is a little bit greedy or what do you think? I guess that is why Francis have had issues working with managers since he does not want to pay them neither.

Wait, the trainer left because Francis didn't want to lend money to his daughter when she (presumably) missed a flight?

Sounds like the trainer is the one pulling the greed card... Surely he's not doing this for work experience?

yup

This whole story doesn't seem very interesting simply because there's not much there. No dramatic turn of events, nothing that would make one take a side, not much to gossip about.
There's a certain tension in the air, but it's due to Francis and Gane being former training partners, and Gane having an actual chance of wining the fight.

Surprise surprise.
A promising fighter is also a narcissistic selfish prick. Come on. Every fighter that's easily beating people is just like that.
It's part of the game.

Literally everyone of these immigrants are coming over with that mindset.
Social Media doesn't help either, making these dudes feel like the only thing to aim for is the limos & champagne lifestyle.
It's become a dog eat dog world. These people would literally drop their grandmothers over the boat if that meant they could "make it".

Everything in current world is about making it no matter what, at the expense of the guy next to you, even if he helped you.
If you can somehow get the massive amount of success & money, it's all worth it, no matter how many bodies you stack up.

Maybe the world was always like that, we just were more naive back before the internet and social media? I don't have a clue.
But that's how it is.

Weird way to spin "we treated each other like family, and then when I/my family was in a bind, you walked away". I can see why (from this and several other stories/anecdotes about Francis) he's so alienating and so many formerly close people have distanced themselves from him.

Good call. And no, the (modern) world really wasn't this bad until the last 20-30 years and social media's intervention. Social media has really, really screwed up society's . . . er. . . ability to socialize in a healthy way. Lots of studies are coming out about social media's negative influence on brain/social development, and its powerful link with mental disease, disorder, and depression.

Pulling the greed card?
That trainer literally saved Francis from the streets, and put his career on track.
He's the one that even planted the idea of MMA into Francis' head, he was going to be a boxer (which would have ended terribly).

Youre spot on... The only thing worth adding is that these days instead of doing things the old school way and working through issues, head down/mouth shut and proving yourself to be better via achievement isn't the way its done anymore either... This cancel cultured social media drama world has led to grown men publicly snitching on personal, behind closed door problems and conversations like a bunch of schoolgirls.

Bear in mind this is an Internet bitchfest about "the baddest man on the planet" and what a meany he was one day... Its fucking pathetic.

Well, I'm definitely cheering for Gane. He seems very amiable, calm, respectful, polite, considerate, talented, hard-working, non-complaining, and a really nice dude. (AFAIK).

so...Gane for the win.
Vive La France!

Off topic by instagram seems also to be a market for escorts.
