If you do that, you're likely going to fuck up your other settings if they're customized. Dropping signatures messed up my custom posts per page option for example. It went back to default and currently I don't see a selection to change posts per page unless I'm overlooking something(doubt it, I quickly went through all options).

It's your choice obviously, but out of the two, less clutter in posts and custom posts per page, I know which one I would pick.

Hopefully it's just temporary until they clean this clusterfuck up.

No you are correct... I didn't pick up on that when I changed my signature settings. But it fucked up my posts per page as well.
