Economy EPA cut regulations BIGLY

You guys are getting increasingly pathetic. I'm sure there are some regulations that could be tweaked, but the basic trend of this presidency has been rolling back the major accomplishments of the western tradition. Everything is out the window so long as it can further enrich the already obsenely wealthy. environmental and social protections, rule of law internationally and domestically, protection of children. Fuck all of this, look at the stock market!
Teddy Rosevelt rolling in his grave.

We need to bring back the square deal.

Project 2025 is just the business plot now with more white nationalism.

It's not an accomplishment to put ourselves at a competitive disadvantage, allowing China and the Globalists to pollute away while eating up parts of our economy. America has performed well on emissions and is tired of giving advantages to Globalists while they do not. Even with the changes Trump has pushed forward, we will do well on emissions.

Nothing you can dispute.

Concession Accepted... no go back to the Epstein thread you muppett.

You are so fucking fried talking to you about anything is a pointless endeavor let alone this. You're basically the WWE fan of politics.

You are misery incarnate, telling anyone else to stop pouting is like the dumbest shit I've heard. That's your entire existence.

I have a colossal thread I want to start about that if Suredog ever decides to release me from these oppressive dubs for calling for violence against the President after he threatened elections (multiple times, since attempting to overthrow one). I wouldn't describe them as accomplishments necessarily - though it certainly leans heavily in that direction even taking cons into consideration - but certainly the things that undeniably transformed the United States specifically. From what I've seen, you have a pretty strong knowledge base on that despite not even being American. I think you'll enjoy it, and hopefully add to the discussion (ain't really expecting much there).

It's short term economic policy with no interest in long term environmental policy. Which is par for the course with this administration.

The Trump Administration is pushing nuclear energy at levels we have not seen in decades. You want fewer emissions, that's how it happens. Your claim that they have no policy is wrong in a huge way.

The start stop reg....is that the bullshit I asked about on here years ago? Car shuts off at a stop light, then turns back on when gas pedal is pressed?

I said this back then, though it should save SOME gas, the starter is a Lil motor itself, and would have more wear and tear, causing it to be replaced frequently, so....

My wife and I have had this conversation a lot.

A starter has a finite number of actuation in its life. Let's call it 20k starts over the course of its years and then it shits the bed. When you have 40 starts a day instead of 4 the lifespan is seriously degraded.

Now think about the copper, magnets, iron, and other stuff that needs to be mined, refined, processed, etc until final manufacture of this starter. All of this requiring workers to DRIVE to work. Then shipping to a warehouse. Then to a distributor or store. Then a mechanic putting it on.

I think any carbon footprint savings from fuel is going to destroyed 4x over when you are replacing these starters more often.

Some of you all can take the off topic stuff else where

But maybe its something else
Funny. We have had it for 8 years in current car and not replaced the starter once. But of course our car is not an American shitbox

America not happy before they are the no 1 polluter. Its not enough being no 1 pr capita. Need that over all title

Going straight for epic levels of dumb, while we are at it let’s roll back PFAS levels. Lead is also back in fashion.

Fortunately, regulations only have slightly more hold than executive orders. Regulations are put in place, Regulations removed, Regulations challenged in court, Regulations reinstated, struck down, etc. It just depends on who has the White House at any given time and is mostly fleeting. These aren't Acts of Congress were talking about. So, unless Republicans start straight-up repealing shit like the Federal Meat Inspection Act of 1906, National Labor Relations Act of 1935, Clean Air Act of 1972, or Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974, then whatever damage can be mitigated. The obvious problem is that in the meantime, they're kind of responsible for enforcing those laws.

Are they. What have they achieved in terms of commitment to getting plants built?

I'm all for nuclear so I hope they're getting somewhere.

start and stop ruins the engine itself, wears much faster, 80% of the engine wear of a vehicle is due to start/stop due to friction..... building new engines is expensive and not carbon neutral.

I said more than insults, but I understand you're a soft weak willed person and can't handle being called a shithead.

A) Realize this is where you are and how you choose to argue.

B) realize this is where you are and how you choose to argue, fuckface.

You make a choice when you write. And your argumentative style is more ad hominem than persuasive. Just an observation. Ta ta, fuckface~

You're not serious. As bad as Epstein is, the Democrats' Southern Border policy is responsible for way more rape, trafficking, and murder of children, and it's not close. You do know there is a thread for that, quit derailing this one. Adults can deal with more than one problem at a time.

The cut in these regulations will help farmers, the poor, and the middle class the most, and help the auto and vehicle industry thrive.

This is about as believable as you telling us you're physically fit.

But for humors sake, explain to us how dumping coal in once restricted areas will help farmers.

8 years and 100k miles in our current car with start/stop. 0 engine isuues. Starter replaced 0 times
