International Entire west coast under tsunami watch

On the big island of Hawaii, waves were hardly big enough to surf on.

Huge media blitz for a 7 foot wave. We get those every week.

True enough and thankfully so. I don’t mind them over hyping potential natural disasters. Things can go from nice and calm to a shit storm really quickly.

I live in south FL and and been through some hurricanes that turned out to be duds. But during same time, I have seen hurricanes completely butt fuck the west coast of FL. Nature is scary

seems like the tsunamis did come, but were relatively minor. No reports of any major flooding from what I have seen. No significant damage or loss of life/“. Good news!
As I predicted but remember all these events happen to coincide with the river of fire volcanic zones. One volcanologist predicts the big one that is considered to be much larger then mt St Helens like 700 times larger will go off this year. We are talking about putting a quarter to half of the US into darkness for years.

Ring of fire catchy name but this is a somewhat ruff map of the volcanic zones that follow the plates and trenches as as Cocos and Nazca has recorded two of the biggest earthquakes in history 9.5 magnitude earthquake. Italy tied to Arabian Plate Kind of Biblica ring. I myself cannot wait for the big stuff to start time for the reboot.

"The Pacific Coast chain of volcanoes is part of the larger "Ring of Fire," a horseshoe-shaped zone of seismic activity and volcanoes encircling the Pacific Ocean. This zone includes the Cascade Range in the Pacific Northwest, the Aleutian Islands, and extends down to the Andes Mountains in South America. The Ring of Fire is characterized by frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, with about 90% of all earthquakes and 75% of active volcanoes located there according to National Geographic"

Funny I just saw where AI being used to project how much homeowners insurance rates, car insurance rates and even plane flights out of the area based on desperation and income level. AI going to make America poor again.

Looks like things were pretty minor. Really good trial run tho to be honest

And it wasn't a boy cried wolf thing. The waves just thankfully lost enough energy along the way.

Not to derail, but AI is already being used to price fix rentals and vacation spots.

Johnny Cash called it way back.

it's not over hyping. Earthquakes of those nature should always be taken seriously.

Oh yea, I completely agree. Just like in Texas recently, a river rose like 25 feet in under a hour from like only 12 inches of rain.

And with tsunamis, it isn’t just a wave and size of a waves. It is a rise in the entire tide and tidal surge. So even just a few feet can be devastating. Thankfully that wasn’t the case here

Huntington Beach reporting in... as I nodded off to sleep last night I wondered, is this it? We made it! I think LA is gone, and it's terrible. I mean LA is terrible. That is all.
