Can we revive that great thread with Enson Inoue, one of, if not THE, coolest MMA fighters around? I don't think he's been around these parts in a while but that was one of the most entertaining discussions on a forum that I've ever been on.

Plus I'm curious what has happened to people who was active on it, besides Enson, e.g. Brent (hope that's right AKA Canadian Fight Club), Hody, et al.

Plus Facebook $uck$, going to be called Nazibook soon enough!

He's super cool. I remember when he gave signed pictures to people on here.

MMA pioneer, racquetball legend, BJJ phenom, standover man & humanitarian. Is there anything he can't do ?

funny part about that interview is when the host tells Enson that ONE officials dictate to the refs how to resolve a fight when the lights are turned out and Enson has no idea. he's legit shocked.
Enson is also pissed that they gave him nosebleed seats lol.

dude literally almost died in one of the craziest balls to the wall fights ever vs Igor,

had no fear and threw toe to toe
Yeah, I remember that fight vividly. Vov was rolling at that point too.

I ran into Brent at a Pride show one time. Seemed like a really good guy. Enson was with him too but didn't get the chance to meet him (it was during an intermission and Enson had stayed at their seats or something).

Are you still in JPN? I actually left back in 2010 but want to move back!

I've never actually lived there. I just transitted through a few times, pop off the plane, spend a few days in Tokyo, watch a Pride show and then back on my way. It used to be a lot easier to get extended transit so if I was ever traveling when a Pride show was scheduled, I'd see if I could get my itinerary to give me a few days in the city.

Curious how much success he could have had if he was more of a gameplan guy who emphasized the submissions.

Does anyone have the old Enson vs Brent video?
