Through out my life I have had an addiction to Caffeine and stimulants of the kind. Began with a cup of coffee here and there and rolled into multiple cups a day.

Then I discovered pre workout drinks like speed stack and ripped fuel. I began drinking these just throughout the day like they are water.

Still to this day I need to have a rockstar, monster, or a bang to really get my day going properly.

All of which I only like the zero calorie versions of as anything with sugar tastes like syrup to me.

How about you folks? How bad is your addiction to stimulants? Have you found a solid crutch to lean on to get away from your addictions?

I'm currently drinking this right now.

Used to happily drink a couple of Monsters a day or Red Bulls but stopped after I got chest pains a few months ago. Not sure if it was related to the caffeine but cut them out.

oh shit bro, i drink Monster ultra that comes in the white can, just like in the boomer meme

i know its gonna kill me, between that and drinking coffee when im not on the liquor, shit just keeps me going

Did the pains go away?

I'm closing in on 4yrs since I've had any type of energy drink. I'm glad I did

Only type of caffeine I drink, is the Bigelow green tea with pomegranate.

Still get a tweak occasionally but I have had an angiocardiogram and found I have one semi blocked artery but no need for stents, it's controllable with medication. Might as well cut the caffeine back and the sugar in them.

How's that working for you? Do you notice more mental alertness? How's the memory?

Body Armor might give you a little bounce with no caffeine.

Kombucha has caffeine but less than coffee. Also a funky taste.

So I had a chick who worked for me about 6 years ago attempting to get me to turn to kombucha. I just couldn't stand the taste. Nor could she. She would buy it for me and try to make me drink it and I'd take one sip and refuse. She would try to drink it to make a point but always failed as well.

Jet Alert caffeine pills. 200mg per. I splitt hem based on fatigue level and time of day. Good boost for long runs. None of the crap you have to deal with with energy drinks....and it's like 3.00 for 90 or them.

Only take em when I absolutely need them. Great stuff.

Caffeine doesn't do anything for me anymore. Probably because when I was a dumbass teenager I used to crush a Monster 4 pack almost everyday, I think I'm just numb to it now so I don't drink any caffeine at all.

It is all really bad for your health, specially the amount you are taking in. Your rapidly beating heart could pose a health risk, energy drinks have been shown to raise stress levels, increase heart rate, and increase blood pressure. Caffeine is not really addictive. Not sure why you would need so much caffeine in your system to be able to function normally. Are you not getting good quality sleep?

A few yrs ago I was working late and stopped at a small gas station to get a Gatorade, they didn't have any, but they did have kombucha with mango. I love mango so I got it because it also looked healthy...

Damn that stuff, it tasted like how apple cider vinegar smells. Never again.

It's more a habit than anything else tbh.

I dont think the Caffeine affects me at all. More of a placebo effect now.

But now that you mention it I have had some anxiety issue recently that could easily be due to the Caffeine.

That is a valid reason for me to take a hard look at my habits.

But my sleep is phenomenal tbh.
