I keep seeing some trolls trying to cause confusion in Chimaev's career and also that MW bout is not slated because the reporter kept putting it in his mouth and dana just replied.

There is no way there is Middleweight fight on the horizon cause once Khamzat was ready calling out MW's and when 4 opponents were declined him was the time for a MW bout but that train left now.. Costa declined to fight chimaev when contract was handed in and so did belal. He asked for Whittaker it was not given it had to happen before Izzy-poatan but nothing happened. Also Colby declined flat out and it makes him even look worse to see the dude weighing-in what in the actual fuk mann.

Chimaev always had winner of Usman-Leon in mind.. He called them both out just 24 hours ago.

Why the fuk should he know fight a middleweight contender?

I am even hearing Conor LMAO? Conor has to fight Candler in September or October how is that relevant.

If Kamaru Usman wins he wants to fight Chimaev.. Lets fuking go!!

Khamfat tried to weigh in almost 10 pounds over the welterweight limit against a career lightweight last time out. Imagine trying to get that much of a weight advantage over a guy who's already that much smaller than you. Almost tanking an entire card in the process.

Dude hasn't come close to earning a title fight at either weightclass.

Hes fighting at 185 next hopefully against Whittaker. If he beats Rob then he can fight for a belt, at the weight he can actually make.

He offered to fight Whittaker but the offer never came.. Why should he wait for that shxt in 100 years.. Colby declined to fight and ducked him.

This is just wasting of his time at this point... Nothing outside of TS at WW is possible at this point everything else is a non-starter..

Defeating Holland after missing weight by 8 pounds doesn't warrant you a titleshot at WW.

As I said TS was warranted before the holland fight.. By beating Burns and shouldn't even have fought neither Diaz or Holland both irrelevant fights career wise

First main event for Khamzat against a well known fighter in Nate Diaz and his weight missing antics wrecked the card

Khamzat would have already had the title shot if he didn't miss weight

If he can't make weight in a main event how can he be trusted to make weight for a title shot

His heel antics after the Holland win doesn't exactly give the UFC confidence that he will make weight for a title fight hence all this 185 talk

He was 173 before the doctor intervened and then the UFC told him to rehydrate because Holland would be his new opponent.

All this weight miss is falling on deaf ears multiple fighters missed weight and got their shot. He is next and they can also get a back-up in case..

He is not next in line for a belt at 170. If he was he would have been back up for UFC 286. The UFC can't trust him to make weight and Dana confirmed hes moving to middleweight so this whole point is moot.

What you think is or isn't a waste of Khamfat's time is irrelevant. The UFC and MMA in general doesn't revolve around what he wants.
