Could you answer my question?
I'm telling you the questions you should be asking yourself and come up with your own answers.
Because you have a long history of asking right-wingers questions and not accepting the answers.
Y’all complain about MSM a lot. If they have bad viewership numbers, why call them “mainstream” and whine about them “brainwashing” the masses?
They were 'mainstream.'
Over the course of decades they had complete control over what the vast majority of the public heard and what they didn't hear through newspapers, cable news, and network news.
And with that control over the public they had control over the government by being able to swing the majority of elections for the House, Senate, and even the presidency.
And lets not forget state and local news that have a major influence over governor and mayor elections.
Now people have caught on through getting their news from alternative sources that the MSM isn't to inform the individual, but to deceive and manipulate the masses.
And maybe those new alternative news sources may lose credibility with people as well in time.
We shall see.
Meh, he’s funny in all honesty. I just think your simping for him is a little weird.
I'm not simping for Musk.
I'd like to think much of what we discuss in the WR is about
reality.
And the idea that Musk will make poor investments and go broke is a
fantasy.
Looking at his net worth has grown inside three weeks, and how MSNBC is losing money for NBC and isn't influential whatsoever I bet Musk could be the highest bidder for it with what would be considered pocketchange.
I'm reminded of Turner networks, who owned WCW back in the day who invested big money into it throughout the 90s in the hopes it'd drive WWF out of business, and it never made money. Viewership fell off and in 2000 Turner networks lost $30 million in a single year with it.
Turner Network sold WCW to WWF for $1 million because thats all they could get out of it. An overall disasterous investment.
Now MSNBC will probably be sold through a private auction, but its bleeding cash for now so it won't be sold for much.
