International Elon Musk Sieg Heiling during his speech

so I am inclined to believe he's just an uncoordinated idiot...
Well, he's far from an idiot, but he certainly is an uncoordinated dork. He is pretty cringe in these moments and definitely has some social awkwardness. If he wasn't the richest man on Earth, it'd be fair to think he might be a "special needs" person, just from the way he acts in public. Even in interviews, he's just an awkward rambling mess.

What's really fascinating... and honestly a little embarrassing... is that 10 years ago, I’d be posting the exact same things as this. Saying the exact same stuff (minus the pro-Nazi bits), posting the same pictures, and all that. I used to be like you, thought like you.

That’s how I know those of you defending Elon are wrong.

I'm sure it doesn't take much to fascinate you. But your thread is just so stupid. HiTLeR

The difference is you’re relying on freeze-framed moments, while I’ve provided multiple unedited, unaltered videos that weren’t made to look like something they weren’t.

You're intellectually dishonest.

Feel proud, Discount von Arschloch.

But you can at least admit it looks like a nazi salute even if it wasn't meant though right?
Sure, but you could say that for a lot of gestures. I don't think it matters when we know the intent was not to make a Nazi salute. I'm not arguing against the people who think it was just another awkward Elon moment. That's fair. I'm arguing against the people who are trying to argue that it was an intentional Nazi salute. Can you at least admit those people are being stupid, or at the very least, dishonest?

Yeah, I think I've made my position on it pretty clear. None intentional, hilariously awkward and will feed meme makers for generations.

He seemed nervous. I think he was just being spastic/socially awkward rather than intentionally trying to make that kind of hand gesture.
Maybe (but not really), you could explain it away as him being nervous and on the spectrum if he did it once.

But he did it twice.

Leading up to that moment, he was jumping around, fist pumping in the air... not exactly the behavior of someone who's nervous.

Plus, I’ve known several people in my personal life who are autistic, and none of them are randomly throwing out Nazi salutes.

To be fair Tesla stock is up, Elon always does something like this to tank the stock when it's up--probably sold a bunch of shares yesterday.

He's most likely mildly or moderately autistic.

I am using the word 'idiot' in a broad manner rather as a specific attack of his intelligence.

There is a simple explanation for all of this. It takes hundreds of hours to perfect the Seig Heil form but he's too busy so he hired a Chinese booster to grind his Reich level to 96. That's why it looks like he doesn't know what he's doing when he live streams. He's still a top 5 Nazi in hardcore ranked though.

I expected the video to show context that made this claim bs.

It didn't that was definitely the funny mustache salute...
Exactly, I was thinking the same thing when I first heard about it on Reddit. I watched the video, thinking, 'OK, there has to be more to this than just him giving the salute.' And not only did he do it once, he did it twice.

People here act like I have something personal against Elon, when I don't. I literally posted an unedited, unaltered video of him doing it, and suddenly I'm a Biden-supporting liberal who just hates Elon because he supports Trump.

Then they start jumping through so many hoops trying to explain it away by saying he’s on the spectrum, which is both sad and comical.

I personally know people who are autistic... awkward, uncoordinated, and sometimes can barely walk down the street without tripping over their own feet. And not one of them has ever thrown out something that could be mistaken for a Nazi salute, not once, let alone twice.

Try again, Sturmführer Stumblewitz.
