No Spoilers Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

Seriously, where tf are the weapons? All I'm getting are talismans, cookbooks, ashes of war etc... I haven't found a single weapon aside from some shitty whip.

Also, isn't there supposed to be a new tab or something to view your new inventory items? I'm not seeing it
I've found a few weapons but nothing great so far. You're right it's mostly cookbooks and crap I won't use. I'd love a talisman that reduces recovery frames but I doubt they would ever make that lol

The new tab is just a way to sort your inventory. You first have to enable it in your settings then go into your inventory and press L3.

Alot of people seem to like Milady, the light greatsword.

I found some great kitanas but they're so slow. Got dryleaf arts, upgraded that to 25, slapped blood affinity on it, and it's my new favorite left hand weapon. Running around with that in the left and trusty ol rivers of blood in right hand. That way you can bleed punch the world but still whip out RoB WA.

Was getting stomped by Rellana until I remembered that I had 85 rune arcs and can use them to activate great runes, took her down second try after using that for a bigger health pool.

I've found a handful of weapons from the few dungeons I've been to. The most interesting one is the Milady Light Great Sword. Move set feels really good, but haven't invested any resources yet. Wanted to see some of the other gear before I start unloading my stones. I did find an ancient dragon somber stone, so it was nice to boost my high level resources.

She's tricky

She's tricky

With the extra hp from rune arc I was able to not get 1 shot long enough for mimic tear to tank her. A few good WAs followed by running away like a mad man and she went down. Spent most of the time just running away from her trying to kite her back into mimic to get aggro.

Beat Bayle the Dread! Wound up using my Mimick and Deaths Poker so we could keep the Ghostflame ticking away at its health.

Doesn't it open up after Rellana?
I got to the grave but thought I’d missed too much so went back to the plains and got completely sidetracked.

It's easy to do. I'm having so much fun. I'm going to make sure I do everything I can before I focus on Messmer.

Yeah same. I haven't figured her out yet but just took a little ride and found a big cave with another boss and maybe a whole new area. Gotta go check it out now.

edit - nope nowhere left to go so I'll have to beat her now. How did you figure her out so quickly?

Just fought my first (the first?) main boss, Divine Dancing Lion. It took me while to get his move set down and take him out. His clothing and long frame (Is he several people in costume?) made it hard to tell what what he was doing. His reach/range made him tougher. The really tall NPC's were especially, think there are two of them.

I loved the area too, tons of hidden paths. I spent a good while finding everything after killing the boss. Once I remembered to jump on roofs, it opened so much.

Everyone enjoying it? I'm avoiding comments to avoid spoilers. Gonna hop back in shortly.

So I was exploring eastward on the map, kind of south east-ish of Castle Ensis or whatever it’s called and I came across what appears to be one of those air vortexes that can launch Torrent up into the air, but it appears kind of “broken” I guess or something. Like it looks weaker than normal and it’s not doing anything when I try jumping into it with Torrent. Anyone know what to do to get it working?

If it's the one I'm thinking of. You have to break this spirit looking pile of rocks that's connected to the one that's in the air vortex to make it go away. I followed some signs people left on the floor to find it. It should be not to far way from it.

You have to beat Radahn and Mohg (the harder one) to access the dlc. Doesn't matter what ng but the difficulty is definitely late game if not harder.
Ok, then I'm good. But...aw shit. I restarted the game. I'm in ng+ currently and havent gotten to that part again. I did do it the 1st time. Does it count?

Beat a handful of areas and a few bosses. Took Renalla down, a Death Knight, and a Magma Wyrm. Getting demolished by Impaler Messmer. I can get him consistently into phase 2 with most of my health potions, but I just can read his second phase attacks and some of his big AoE. Need to turn it off and give it a break and come back later before I break my son's controller.

I've apparently beaten bosses out of sequence but I'll say Messmer is the hardest offering so far

I'm not even raging, the fight is ridiculous. I won't be trolled into property damage or high blood pressure lol. He's an example of a Sekiro boss in a Souls game. Built for deflecting but you have to dodge because he's 3 times as fast as the player.

No but I also found one that I couldn't get to work. Can't remember where it was exactly

There's a stack of stones somewhere you have to slap over and it unlocks the spirit stream. Couple of them are like that.

No.

You zone into the dlc from the defeated Mohg's boss room.

Mohg Temple Mohg, not sewer Mohg.

Go talk to Varre and get the portal to Mohg land.
