Crime Egg prices at an all time high.

There nothing he can do to lower egg prices anyway so it really doesn't matter

Much he could be doing padiwan, he could bring workers over, he could import chickens, he could have people working on bird flu and these avian sickness do not be a fool ... he could also make it worse which he is doing. I have chickens lost three in the past few months.

Trump putting Tariifs on Columbia, now my coffee is going to be expensive. Tariffs on Canada so my Canadian bacon will be expensive. Looks like I can’t afford breakfast. Thanks Trump!
7 members of a consortium of citrus growning countries have decided to support each other in response to mass deportation. Tariffs across a wide range of produce such as bananas, blueberries, grapes an other products will see a 50 percent jump in price.

Why doesn't Trump just issue an executive order to lower the price of eggs?

Eggs at all time high and fat Trump already playing golf

just to note, for four plus years all we heard was 'its all trumps fault, we inherited a shit sandwich" from the left.

turn around is fair play.

at least in polo.
That's a lie. The pandemic affected the entire planet. Inflation was global, supply chain issues were global, energy prices were global. You don't need to lie about history. Trump got blamed, fairly, for his piss poor response to covid.

Another garbage link that doesn't have any data on egg prices during Trump's term. They say "the week Trump became president" because the CPI report came out on January 15th and your garbage source conflates the fact that he became president on January 20th as "the same week", despite Trump not being in office yet to have any effect on egg prices.

Also from your same link:
The rising price of eggs isn’t just due to the bird flu. Overall inflation in the U.S. economy has also played a role in this. The USDA estimates that grocery prices will rise 1.3% in 2025, and food prices in general are expected to rise 2.2%.
1.3% inflation in grocery prices would be good and well below historical inflation averages and 2.2% slightly less than the federal reserve's intended inflation rate.

4 years straight I didn't hear any news whatsoever of the gradual increase in the price of eggs.

And the moment a Democrat is no longer president its 'OMG, egg prices are really high now!.'

Fuck off with your obvious partisan bullshit.

Well, either you had your head so far up your own ass you couldn’t hear, or you’re a partisan hack.

Does Newsweek work. Corporate Media like Fox won't report it, because they never report anything that shows Trump is a failure.
Per the article.
Prices continue climbing in January—even for retailers. According to the latest USDA data on the egg market, the wholesale price on the New York market for large cartoned shell eggs delivered to retailers rose $0.52 to $7.24 per dozen in the week ending on January 24. In the Midwest, it increased by $0.42 to $6.49 per dozen. In California, it declined $0.41 to $8.35.

Looks like Gavin Newsome is the only one doing anything about egg prices since they are down in CA.

It's better as it's actual data but not still not accurate because that doesn't take into context the entire country, only the limited areas that USDA tracks for a short timeframe. As you said the prices in some areas are increasing and in others are decreasing. Why not just wait for Feb. 15th when the next CPI report comes out to fully evaluate the prices rather than these limited data sets that always fluctuate week to week?

I never even said whether I think egg prices are going to rise or fall, how much effect a president has on them, or how long it would take for a president's economic policy to take effect. Just that your original OP is a terrible source that incorrectly attributed the higher costs of eggs in a January 15th CPI report to Trump. That is simply propaganda that you chose to post. If egg prices go up or down will not change the fact that the OP source is invalid and incorrect garbage and took me all of 15 seconds of research (probably longer than it took to make this thread) to realize. I even said as much in one of my earlier posts, you people are bickering over an incorrect premise. Just wait until there's actual reliable data to start yelling at each other like idiots.

Trump ran on egg prices being too high. Remember Vance posting pictures of him standing in front of eggs. Well Now egg prices are the highest ever under the guy who said he would fix egg prices. Seems like Trump is failing so far with egg prices. You can spin it any way you want, but I am a results guy. So far the results are egg prices are at an all time high. Thanks Trump.

They are not highest ever under Trump. The last full data of egg prices (Jan 15th CPI report) showed the highest prices under Biden. Again, why do you refuse to wait for the actual full data to come out before making an argument? Or attributing CPI reports from Biden's term to Trump's?

@Scheme It seems like just a misunderstanding. He's a results guy. If/when the new report comes out, we can all be assured he will return here with the good or bad news regardless and he will be honest and forthcoming with all the new data and he will formulate his opinion in an unbiased, non-partisan manner.
