Media Edwards doesn't want to fight in July

Does it really make any difference? Colby getting an undeserved title shot does nothing but hold up the division and is a huge slap in the face to the guys who have actually won fights within the past 12 months. If you want to talk about what’s fair and what isn’t, Colby getting the shot has to be at the top of the unfair list
yes it does matter, Colby a) is not holding up the division and b) is the number 2 contender and a draw so I don't get this logic about him not deserving the TS.

Says who? Leon isnt your bitch. He will defend when he feels like it.
He is Dana's bitch, that's for damn sure. I am not saying he has to , I am saying it's the right thing to do.

Define rarely because we have seen contract disputes and disputes over pay MANY times. And guys have sat out over money or not liking opponents offered before.
contract dispute is a different animal, I don't hear leon bitch about his contract, do you?

Can you give me some examples where champs did not defend because they didn't like their opponent while they were healthy and happy with their contract?

You've been following this sport for more than a decade and don't know the concept of a training camp? Those can be pretty brutal. Also, Leon went 5 rounds. Lol at you thinking he came out of that unscaved.

I've yet to see a Colby fan that isn't a total clown. Incredible.
I am actually not a Colby fan and if you know anything about fighting you would know that the best way to keep sharp is not to have this long intervals between fight camps.

Do more research on that topic instead of my profile.

lol

Leon :: wins belt ::
I dont wanna fight in july.
Fans: DIVA!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG DUCK!!! AAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, love how intellectually challanged sherdog is. Here it is "paint by color":

Dana says Colby is next-> Leon says " I dont' want Colby"-> Dana says " fuck you , you are getting Colby"-> Leon says " now I will sit out until October" = DUCK

Got that champ? Didn't think so.

Well off the top of my head they had to strongarm Silva into taking the Sonnen rematch because he just didn't want to fight him again. He didn't want to fight Weidman either.

Lol at defending 3 times a year. I bet if you took an average its less than 2. Maybe 1.5 or something. The only champ even close to that active is Adesayna.

Mousasi will punish Leon for this by destroying his brother next month.

This but especially since Leon wanted to fight Jorge instead. It’s clear he wants to duck Colby so he could defend against a guy who absolutely did not deserve the title and who got dominated by Colby.

OK bro, I don't know the details of that one but how many times had Silva defended that belt? I think he had the record number of title defenses back then, that's very different from a guy who just won it and now makes demands.

The more I think about it, I think it's highly unlikely there's another PPV in London this year.

I think they'll bring a UFN card maybe, but wiht France getting one and possibly Sweden, they might not return to the UK this year at all.

A) the fact that he will be fighting when someone deserving can instead IS holding up the division. B) Why is he the number 2 contender? It sure isn't by keeping his spot with wins. There has ALWAYS been consideration for not just ranking but also momentum, which he has none, when talking who deserves a shot. So the fact that a bunch of the lowest IQ fans (a prerequisite for liking Colby) just all seemed to purposefullyforget that is not surprising. C) Is he a draw though? Is he really?

Say what you want about Usman, at least he was hella active
Hmm, while he did get a three fight year in, he won the belt in March 2019 first defense in December, longer than Leon is asking for his second defense.
His one fight in 2020 could be due to COVID affecting many fights.
2021 he did get in 3 fights, but his last fight in 2021 was August his next fight was November 2022.

a) who is more deserving than Colby at the current state?
b)look at UFC rankings to see who is the top contenders
c)yes , he absolutely fucking is

And for your info, I am not even a Colby fan and it's possible to keep two thoughts in your head : Not be a Colby fan but still believe his one of the most deserving in the divisino.

Why not make an interim title fight?

Colby/Belal.

Then Edwards fights winner.

Of course this could be done, but the point is that a champ needs to take all comers. Either you believe you are the best in the division or you are not. Blatantly ducking top contenders shows that you have no confidence in your abilities knowing deep down you could be a one hit wonder.

It took how long for the UFC to make an imaginary belt when Ngannou wasn’t ready to go for Houston…?
<{danayeah}>

interim belt incoming
Dana would love that. Colby-Burns for interim belt, winner fights winner of Conor-Chandler on the UFC 300 card for the "undisputed lineal" belt.
