Welp, looks like Calgary won't be getting this as their Main Event after all. With Nicco Montano still sidelined its looking like we won't get her title fight vs. Shevchenko either.

Looking more likely that the UFC is going to have to pull a Main Event out of their asses, quick.

Lol he demands a new deal to fight Porier but not when he fought Conor. This guys not too bright is he?

Well looking at his salary, unless he was in a title fight he was earning 100k a fight. He said the UFC offered him a minuscule pay rise which was laughable. I don't think they want to pay him over 200k a fight.

This. The time to have renegotiated a long-term deal was before the McGregor bout, when he had the most leverage.

It's because if he didn't fight on his current deal he would have had to fight khabib

I'm not too familiar with how contract negotiations go. Does the UFC typically offer new deals before the original contract is up or do they wait until the contract is fulfilled? Or does it depend on the fighter?

He means a new contract extension dodobird, he has 1 fight left on his current contract, when he fought Mcgregor he had more fights.

So that card needs a new main event. I think Camozzi can beat Jacare this time.

Often times they opt to begin negotiations when a fighter has one fight left on their deal to minimize the chance of them hitting free agency if they don't come to terms right away.

Don’t fight, who fucking cares. It’s not like many people actually give a shit about him. I sure won’t miss him.

Did you miss the part where they threatened him with Khabib?
Infact threatened both of them (Conor and Eddie) so they would stop asking for mo money

Got it. Thanks.

I doubt the UFC want him to go into free agency either. He's an exciting guy and still a bit of a name in the game.
