Isn't it better to just shelve it and write it off than do that? Like DC did with Batgirl and whatever else

I would have thought so, but apparently Disney, for whatever reason, couldn't figure out a way to do it. So they took the least worst option: chop it down to eight episodes and dump them all in one day, in the middle of January. They probably hope that by the time they release any more content, which won't be until next year, everyone will have forgotten about Echo.

Overall I found the show enjoyable enough to keep watching but there were some serious issues regarding it. D’Onofrio absolutely killed it as kingpin as always, Graham Green is one of my favorite actors, Tantoo brought it as well. The last episode was both amazing and awful at the same time, the Pow Wow scene was beautifully shot and put together and the final fight scene was really really bad.
