-First time you don't make weight, you're fined 10% of your purse per pound, up to 50%.

-Second time you don't make weight, you're fined 20% of your purse per pound, up to 80% and never allowed to compete at this weight class or lower.

Problem solved.

There's absolutely no way guys who are 185lbs should fight at 145 or 155. You should cut at the very most 15-20lbs, and even that is a lot.

So next week the new rule will be that Yellow Belts can't start thread topics either

1) Get rid of weight classes
2) Go to 4-5 very broad weight classes
Or
3) Shut down the company

What do pixels of an imaginary belt have to do with anything? Do you have any rebuttal to the idea or are you just part of the large sub-90 IQ crew that lives on sherdog?

Romero missed and was still able to earn a title shot; I think you have to stop those kind of practices as well.

Just do the damn hydration tests, no need to rip the already meager purse of the fighters for doing what everyone else is doing by abusing weightcutting.

Or if you miss weight you either move up or Lose your ranking. Go back to fight pass prelim money

Clearly they just need a Friday afternoon weigh-in, that will fix everything right Dana?

That's retarded because they will just claim they have an injury like Kawhi Leonard on the San Antonio Spurs (claims to "feel" an injury, even though team doctors can't find anything wrong).

The only way to ensure fighters get to the fight is to drastically reduce fighter pay.

Holloway, Chiesa, Pettis all have thousands of dollars in the bank. They're not under threat of being evicted from their homes if they don't get paid.

Without that incentive, that total desperation to get paid, this will continue to happen.

UFC needs the same rules as ONE FC to reduce weight cutting. It is a proven system.

Also anyone coming overweight should get a one point deduction on top of the purse fine.

The ufc has totally mismanaged the missing of weight by rewarding guys regularly. Romero and till especially. Quit being short sited by trying to save 1 card

Or have usada carry a scale with them when they drug test. If you are over 15 pounds of your fighting weight I have to move up. Guys will actually be fighting closer to their actual weight

If they pull out, even due to an injury, then they should be fined too. That will teach them that training like a bunch of retards doesn't pay. There could be a policy that 1st injury = ok, 2nd injury = small penalty, etc. That way guys like Aldo won't pull out for half their fights, or Cain won't fight every 4 years, etc.

1st offense 50% period
2nd offense 75% & mandatory move up in weight for a minimum of 2 fights before being eligible to return to the original weight class.

Let them use the USADA banned weight butting supplements. Not the juice just the diuretics

Agree 100%

You shouldn't make threads because you've just acted in a discriminatory manner against people with below 90 IQ like myself. Retards like myself have rights and should be treated like everyone else.

Gotta go with the dude from the future. Stipe

Make weigh-ins 4 hours before fight time. No way to cut weight everyone will fight at walk around weight. Create a Super Heavyweight division for the big men and last but not least you miss weight 75% of your pay goes to your opponent if both miss weight 75% of both fighters pay goes to charity.
