155 is a much better weight for poier. He's a hell of a fighter with tons of great matchups .

I don't like Connor and I love poirier.

But if they rematched tomorrow at 55, I wouldn't expect the outcome to be much different than it was at 45. Poirier is well-rounded but I don't think he's good enough consistently get takedowns and find a sub, and he's definitely not good enough to suddenly outstrike macgregor. Conner is kind of a one-trick pony (spam those long left hands against orthodox fighter, get KO) but that one trick should work against poirier for the forseeable future.

Agree though, at the very least calling him out would get DP's name into the mouth of the reporters and fans. Wouldnt' get him a rematch with collin but it would get him something at the very least.

He should fight Dariush or Ferguson next though for real. LW is clogged as shit so I mean, not like he'll be in line for a title fight, but a top 10 makes sense.
