prime for prime, rda is a better fighter. as a matter of fact, I dont think Poirier ever beat a grappler-based fighter of RDA's calibre.

Prime RDA a different story yeah. He was a beast. Well rounded, super tough matchup. He just looks old now. And Dustin really doesn't yet.

Islam literally showed up to fight Arman in January, you’d have to have a room temperature IQ to think he doesn’t wanna fight Arman.

IMO you put Islam in there at WW vs RDA (and I'm talking you make Islam cut to 155 but RDA gets to just fight at 170) and Islam ragdolls him and finishes within 2 rounds. Probably within one round. Poirier gave him a helluva fight not that long ago.

RDA looks washed. Dustin looks like a guy maybe a tad past his prime but who can still at least compete with the best.

I honestly think this is the sole reason Islam wants him to prove himself at LW first, and honestly I don't blame him.

I never made that claim, the claim being made is "if islam doesnt want to fight X or Y" but obviously he will. He's already signed to fight armen once (recently).

It's such a weird situation. I honestly believe Illa was basically stripped of his title so he could fight for the LW title so to take his belt (when most champions get to keep it sometimes years like Conor) then tell him fuck you fight a contender too is so dirty.
That said Arman and Charles seems more deserving. Maybe Islam can just get injured and an interim title solves everything. Islam also doing a ww title fight open up an interim title fight.

I'm with you 100%. But the UFC has their golden boys & Islam is now one of their golden boys. They will only do what he wants to do. All the talk was about Islam vs Ilia, until, Islam said Ilia should have to go thru a number 1 contenders match. & now look where we are.
