Media Dustin Poirier did not go to salt lake early

Man, I hate to hear this. It may not matter, but if one of them has a noticeable deficit in gas tank and loses, it's going to weigh too heavily on what everyone thinks about the outcome.
How bad is the elevation? I just don't want to hear the commentating revolve around how the elevation is with every single fight that goes into the second round.

Bruh, it’s one of the most beautiful cities in this country.

This sounds borderline retarded.
I don't know if he's there yet, but in the embedded I believe he was the only guy not in Utah yet.

I'd favor Dustin if this were in another city like Vegas or NYC, however now with this info I'm slightly leaning towards Gaethje.
I really don't understand why the UFC put stacked cards like this in high elevation cities, it makes it so much more difficult for the fighters to prepare for that.

A win is a win, in the end. Verdum drowned Cain at high elevation and only the hardcores understand what Sea-Level Cain means.

I think gaethje is hungrier. Poirier hasn't been as hungry since the Conor fights in my opinion

I'd take that back even further to after the Khabib fight where he just got smashed. He started having this mentality of only deserving big money fights and what not after that loss because now he was "up there".

That was the first thing they crossed my mind when the fight was announced to be in SLC.

Leon vs Usman and that card lives on in recent memory…….

Man this thread proves the amount of basement dwelling retards go on this site. Probably never even left their home state in over 10 years
