Dustin just has so many more weapons

I would argue that Conor ain't got the power to legit KO most LWs. TKOs are vastly different as you got wmma fights where you have GnP on one where it isn't even close to hurting her but it still gets stopped.
Conor has only KO'd Aldo in his UFC career, a smaller BW size man

That’s literally the only way he loses, by a devastating counter punch from Conor lmao.

Are you a Conor fan by chance? Are you hoping Dustin sees this and does the dumbest game plan possible??? Lol
Dustin literally won the 2nd fight by pressuring Conor to the finish...

He spent the entire fight giving up octagon control to circle the cage and counter, the finishing sequence was due to Conor buckling and putting his own back to the cage. This has everything to do with Dustins ability to counter, not anything to do with forward pressure.

That short finishing sequence on a defenseless Conor has nothing to do with his actual in fight strategy of avoiding the power and picking Conor apart from range.

The only way Dustin loses is if he comes forward and gets hit clean by the counter left, it’s the worst thing he can do. Now once Conor slows down or becomes defenseless from a bum leg, then you can push and seek the finish. Which is what ensued in the second fight.

But walking Conor down and throwing strikes at him is the #1 way to end up on his highlight reel.

Conor’s peak was much higher but I don’t think he has it anymore.

if he proves me wrong and wins the trilogy, it’ll be a huge win for him but if not, he’s probably done. Maybe a Diaz retirement fight on a loss or a fight against Chuck if he wins.

He was already the champ and rich when he beat Nate in a 5 round war
The amount of fame and money he had prior to being the double champ doesn't compare.

Now he is a full fledged cross over star, he has 10x the money he had then thanks to his successful whiskey company.

When he fought Nate in that five round war he was still motivated by big goals. What does he have left to accomplish?

It would make sense that someone in his position has trouble getting motivated to do something he has already done.

If Conor wins, it will be in the first 8 minutes of the fight. The longer the fight goes on, the better the odds are for Dustin.
8 minutes?! we talking about the same conor?
3+3+2?
He'd be lucky if his gas tank holds to the third round.

Conor's punches are very dangerous
So are his kicks he seems to have forgotten how disoriented his opponents get when he comes at them with every limb from every angle. Against Dustin he fought tight. Liek a jump shooter in basketball who “pulls the string.”
If he’s gonna win he has to fight more loose and free flowing. Maybe abandon being a counter striker and swarm Dustin
.

Anything can happen in mma and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I just can’t take you seriously If you insist that this is a 50/50 fight. Look at their # of fights, wins and losses in the last 4 1/2 years. Stop with the “he was winning until the calf kicks” retarded bs and put your delusional glasses away. I got tickets, Mcgregor might never fight again after this one.

Conor was a formidable fw who did “ok” at lw. Not everyone can move up a division and be a killer there.

Dustin, has proven that his blackbelt is legit many times. Outside of the khabib fight he's never been outgrappled at 155. Even before that KZ (who is a monster on the mats) was the only one to outgrapple him at 145.

Dustin has out grappled multiple blackbelts throughout his career. He has proven himself.

Paper blackbelts are a thing but Dustin ain't one of them.
Kabib handle him on the ground like was nothing, sure he knows bjj but in my opinion is not that good..

Oliveira schooled Pettis all the way until the guillotine.
Doostin is a gray belt. Deal with it.
Overrated boxer and grappler. SHIT rassler
As a boxer he is not overrated dustin is very skilled, as a grappler/wrestler yes the guy is overrated..

You cannot compare Khabib to anybody tho, quite unfair. Unless if the fighter is juiced, or maybe Makhachev
And again this is not true, conor was able to resist whole rounds on the ground until he really gassed..yes kabib is a monster but a real bjj master would resist, dustin is just average on the ground..

Khabib once said in the interview that during round 1 of Conor fight, he intentionally just wanted to make Conor works, - to drain Conor's first round stamina - completely dismantling Conor's offense in the first 5 minutes.

If everything it is probably Poirier that had 2 guillotines hooked into Khabib. The only opposition that Khabib had in his career (beside Tibau).

People forget Khabib was quite conversative with Conor in the first. Took absolutely no chances at all. He knew he had to survive the 1st and it would be a cake walk

His striking arsenal all around is excellent. People on this site are so consumed with their dislike of Conor that they fail to watch his fights objectively. He was faster and more accurate than Dustin for the majority of the first round in their last meeting, and landing some great shots.

Anything can happen.

He barely scrapped by against a non-elite Nate. He can't use the same game plan of getting tired after 8 minutes and being a punching bag, as the fight with Poirier showed.

He has no chance to win a decision against Poirier. He needs the early knockout.

Conor was pretty much dominating and trying to put on a show for the fans untill his leg gave out.
