Rob has been consistently winning though. You're acting as if he's had a JDS type of decline after the Cain wars.Eyes closed jab that drops Whittaker because he never expected if, and DDP is turning away and shielding to defend himself from a non-existent follow-up shot because he has no idea what’s happening.
This was the funniest and best outcome possible, sad for Rob though, he’s never been the same after the Romero fights and Izzy KO.

Probably dropped from the white flash of pain more than anything. Shit'll get yaIt was weird, the shot that dropped him. Like a step through jab. Right on the bridge of the nose though.
Yeah, in the space of 10 months with no fight in between he got old...Whittaker did not look good tonight. Looked very flat and couldn't get much going. Bummer I think the mileage on Bobby is catching up.
When did Rob refuse to fight Chimaev? That's not true at all.Rob is timid now, you could see it in the last 2 rounds of his fight vs Izzy.
This is why Ive been saying Chimaev would have beat Rob, and its why Rob refused to fight him.
He didnt outright refuse, but he used the rankings as a reason to shrug off the potential fight. Its a valid reason, but when has rankings ever really mattered? Chimaev is one of the biggest names in the sport and Rob wasnt keen on fighting him, so it comes off as weak. When did Rob refuse to fight Chimaev? That's not true at all.
The UFC wanted to make the fight, but couldn't guarantee a date since Khamzat has been having VISA issues and they've been saving him for an October date and Rob wanted to fight sooner then that.
You're misinformed. He said multiple times he was open to it, all he wanted was a guaranteed title shot if he were to win over Chimaev which is completely reasonable. He didnt outright refuse, but he used the rankings as a reason to shrug off the potential fight. Very true...not even counting the WB KO loss and the damage in trainingEven in his win vs Cannonier, he got hurt I believe the Izzy rematch, Gastelum and Vetorri bout are fights he didn't get hurt in recent memory.
whitaker has been fighting for a very long time.i remember i was only in my mid 20s when i watched himNot "might", it's gone. He had it 3-4 years ago, now it's one semi-solid punch away from being rocked enough for a TKO. Unfortunately, ever since Izzy did him in the first time it's not been anywhere near good.
