Dreaming about Guns

Just had a dream involving guns last night. Prolly the first such dream involving guns in years:

Someone hands me this 44 automag

by the time it reaches my hands its morphed into some sort of automag rfile.

Next I look around and there's Paul Williams!

He says he's, "got some fuckers down the street need shoot'n!"

And demands the gun.

I hand it to him and suddenly it's like this in his hands:

He's cursing and gett'n surly.

I'm trying to coach him on how to hold it, but he ain't listening.

So I tell him, look if you don't tell me a story about planet of the Apes of hookers n blow or something good, you ass is handing that gun back!

Then wife must've kicked me because I woke up!

I have had a few dreams where I have a gun pointed at a bad guy, but my fingers are too weak to pull the trigger.

I think that's common.

I've never shot anyone in a dream, and only had a handful of dreams where I tried, and that was when I was a kid, watching westerns all the time.

I had one where I literally woke up in the middle of my draw stroke as if I was wearing my duty belt. I was drawing down on an armed suspect in my dreams and woke up smack in the middle. Needless to say my draw stroke was not very effective in nothing but my boxers... It was a weird sensation.
