Movies Dragonlord's Movie Adaptation Vol. 2: OLD MAN LOGAN (Fox Reads Sherdog)

This could even work as a trilogy; you mentioned that the Wizard took over Juggernaut's territory after he, quote, "mysteriously disappeared". The sequel could end with Logan finally getting revenge on Blob. In the process he's brought down the entire Super Villain system. All across America, people are rising up against the monsters who have kept them in thrall for so long. Wolverine thinks that maybe, just maybe, he can help rebuild America into what it was before the Super Villains took over...

And then Juggernaut suddenly re-appears. Stronger and meaner than ever. Not the lame Vinnie Jones version, but the unstoppable force from the Comics. And this time, he wants it all. America will bow to him, or he will remake it as the biggest mass grave in history. Logan, his friends and allies, even the surviving Super Villains, have to work together to find a way to stop the Juggernaut...

Juggz cant be that badass. Gladiator flicked him to the next continent.

Also the funny thing is, while all this is happening, where is Sentry, or Hulk, or Asgardians/Olympians? And even Mephisto, Dormammu, Galactus, and the Celestials with Apocalypse? I am pretty sure thye all want their cut.

Marvel is just starting to eat at itself with this shit.
If DC wasn't so horrid these days, both in print and on screen, i might be pleased by this.

What do you mean? I don't quite understand the point you're trying to make.

sounds like a cool adventure, well thought out and executed.

the last wolverine film looks like it was written by someone in middle school compared to this.

I like your casting.

I don't like the bike gang being called the reavers, reavers are associated with firefly strongly.
I kinda understand your attachment of the Reavers with the Firefly show but the cyborg Reavers were introduced on the X-Men pages back in 1988, long before Firefly. :)

I've said it in the Preface in the OP that I'm just using what 20th Century Fox has available, which is the X-Men and Fantastic Four movie rights.

All the other characters you mentioned belong to Marvel Studios, except for Galactus and Apocalypse which belong to Fox.

Apocalypse is presumed dead decades ago but he's just lying dormant, recuperating from a fatal injury. Galactus is in a galaxy far away, devouring worlds.

But lol at the idea of Galactus wanting a cut of the US territories. :D

Oh so your story only involves the US? The other countries in Asia, SA, and Europe are still free?

Maybe you can conclude the whole thing with a bittersweet ending of Galactus coming, and since no one can really stop him, he just devours the world.

That is a really good screenplay, but why you posted it here? Are you not afraid someone steal your ideas? It is a pretty cut throat industry, and is known or rumored that many ideas are stolen.

And for the visuals, and action, that you need for your screenplay, you need none other than Zac Snyder. See his work with 300, Watchmen, and of course Batman Vs Superman Dawn of Justice. No other director comes close when it comes to bringing the comic book pages to screen.
This is just a labor of love. Plus I don't have aspirations to be screenwriter. So if somebody uses my ideas, I'd be flattered to see my work on the big screen. And to be clear, this story is from Mark Millar. I'm just tweaking it for a movie adaptation.

I'm also hoping against hope that Fox might be made aware of this (I know it's impossible) and will change whatever plans they have for Old Man Logan and properly adapt it.

Yep, most of the other countries around the world is still free.

Maybe you can conclude the whole thing with a bittersweet ending of Galactus coming, and since no one can really stop him, he just devours the world.
That would be a bummer ending. :(

So no superheroes escaped USA? Is that in the Old man Logan comic?
They didn't go into the details about that event. When the story starts in the comic, it's already the dystopian future. They talk a little about it but not very detailed. I would assume a few superheroes survived and escaped but most of the big names are dead and ended up in the Red Skull's trophy room.

I'll give this read an A for effort for now and I'll be back after I read Old Man Logan. Just ordered it. Should be in on Monday. Should be read by Tuesday.

Thanks. At the very least, I helped increase sales of the graphic novel by one.

Juggz cant be that badass. Gladiator flicked him to the next continent.

It was Onslaught who punched Juggernaut clear across North America. And Juggernaut survived, although he was badly injured.

Funny enough, that was one of the suggestions I was going to make for a third movie: at the end of the second film, with the Blob and most of the other Super Villains dead or overthrown, the Juggernaut suddenly re-appears. He has been tortured and beaten to the point of death. He uses the last of how once great strength to grab Logan's arm and tell him that Onslaught is coming...

Third film opens with a flashback: Charles Xavier was not at the X Mansion when Wolverine was manipulated into killing the X Men. He was attacked by Magneto. As Xavier was dying, Magneto taunted him with the knowledge that all his students were being murdered, that Charles' dream of peaceful co-existence with humans would never come to fruition. Instead, Magneto plans to gather all Mutants under his power and, eventually, overthrow Doom himself.

Enraged, dying, Charles' self-control finally snaps. He unleashes all his Telepathic power in one single burst of psychic energy, intending to trap Magneto's mind in a never ending illusion based on his memories of the death camps. Magneto would spend the rest of his life reliving the murder of his parents and the other Jews in Auswitzch, over and over again.

However, this backfires spectacularly. It unleashes all of the repressed anger and frustration of Charles Xavier's long life, all the times he was tempted to simply bend other people to his will rather than trying to convince them he was right. All the Mutants and human friends he had lost. Every dark impulse and desire he ever felt - all of it combining with Magneto's limitless rage, his hatred for humans and his unshakeable conviction that Mutants can never live peacefully alongside Humanity. They must kill or be killed.

The result is Onslaught: a being combing the worst aspects of Professor X's and Magneto's personalities, and the full range of their immense Powers. He kidnaps and tortures the Juggernaut simply as a test. He wanted to practice using his powers on one of the strongest beings on earth. Now he is ready to carry out the next phase of his plan...

Dude...even I think that's too dark.

I have a long list to order and reading about this on here, mostly from you, is what moved it up prioritywise.
After you read it and if you like it, I highly recommend THE ULTIMATES 1 and 2 (if you haven't read or own it yet).

Nice.

Btw, Magneto is not a bad guy in my story. He fought alongside the good guys in the end and died alongside them.

@Dragonlordxxxxx

That was freakin' brilliant. Thank you for taking the time to put that together and share with us.

Never accepted Jackman as Wolverine. He's too tall
