Debunked
look at the pic again.. does something look off,,, maybe a tiny head..Poirier doesn't have a "great" chin
It's not bad, but far from great
A better example is Mousasi, who has a small head/narrow jaw and never got KOd despite fighting in 3 weight classes
You never know if a guy is going to have a great chin. Why does Condit have such a great chin and his head is normal? Mousasi has a great chin but a normal/small looking head.
Lol Peahead was a great os nickname.Generally true, but there are always outliers..
faces all look like this
compact midface
short wide flat faces with strong jawline
In the UFC the best chins I can list:
Ngannou, Blagoi Ivanov, Jon Jones, Mark Hunt, Marvin Vettori, Kelvin Gastelum, Max Holloway, Roy Nelson, the Diaz brothers
Lots of different physics and ethnicity. Hard to see any trend, really.
2 out of 3 are as much English as they are Mexicans. That's irrelevant.Even with your odd list, 33.3% of them are Mexican....
dude its a real pic LOOK
It's too big stillStop fooling around bro, here's the real pic..
Big headDebunked
That's the quincunx abs maybe ; he's a mystery, the day he's gonna crumble after a Chandler-like kick, I'm gonna be legit worried.Debunked
do buffer guys have stronger necks?Typically this goes against sound theory. For all the naive people who try to draw correlations without finding contradictions. Many, many muscular fighters have also had amazing chins. One theory is that thicker necks and more developed traps helps the body absorb the impact from strikes to the head that would lead to getting rocked or knocked out. There's a lot of factors for chin durability, definitely genetic components as well but being muscular doesn't make your chin weaker lol.
do buffer guys have stronger necks?
maybe they skipped neck day <45>
if you look at canelo's neck, it's relatively larger than his other muscles
