International Douglas Murray goes off on Joe Rogan and Dave Smith for platforming holocaust revisionists

How is it that everyone in this thread thinks they can somehow be worthy of forming opinions on all of this when it's quite clear that none have EVA BEEEEAAAAANNNNN!?!?

*EDIT - damn just seen moreorless87 retired. Solid poster, and yeah this forum has potential to effect your mental health. I've been on message boards since the 90's so I guess I've grown pretty desensitized to it most of the time.

So that's your argument? That Palestine haven't killed as many kids? Oh, well. Yay Palestine.

I'm wondering, if you think Israel see Palestine kids as future threats (I'd love to know what evidence you base this on btw), what is Palestine's excuse for killing Israeli kids?

Israel does see children as future threats. In fact this Israeli politician (and this is just one) Meirav Ben-Ari from the party Yesh Atid states that "the children of Gaza have brought this up on themselves." Now apart from the politicians, I would suggest that you listen to various Israeli rabbis such as Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi and Rabbi Yaron Reuven who state that there is no mercy in war from the Torah; this includes killing women, children, and animals. I personally disagree with them on this viewpoint despite them being very knowledgeable. Have you read the Old Testament at all? All the Canaanites were ordered to be killed, including the women and children. It is far more violent than passages in the Quran.

I am not saying that the Palestinians are blameless in this. October 7 was heinous and evil; I condemn anyone who supports it including Palestinians. But I do not believe in indiscriminately bombing people. If Netanyahu states that the IDF is the most moral army in the world then I believe they should hold themselves to a higher standard and not kill as many innocents as they have.

Israel has killed many more children than Palestine and actually targets them because they view the children as future threats. This is a very popular position in Israel. There is also a project for the expansion for a greater Israel which would involve Israel taking territory to essentially match what was in the Bible of greater Israel which would include countries like Lebanon and Syria. Do you support targeting women and children in war? Do you support Israel propping up various proxies throughout the Middle East, taking United States tax dollars for weapons, and expanding their boundaries? That sounds like absolute hell to me and people like Douglas Murray who for the most part support the Likud party vision try to brainwash Western countries into thinking this is for the better. Since the creation of Israel in 1947 the Middle East has become a more violent place overall.

Yes, because Muslims are completely intolerant of other religions and cannot stand having one as a next-door neighbour.

Then why are there Palestinian Christians who have co-existed in that region with Muslims there?

There aren't. If they genuinely were Christian they'd be persecuted, Muslim countries do not permit the worship of other religions.

They are drafting kids right now, Hamas that is.

In 1948 approximately 10 % of the population in Palestine were Christians. In a census conducted in 2017 there were approximately 40,000 Palestinian Christians. I think you are referring more to strict fundamentalist Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia who are oppressive to religious minorities.

I think Rogan has really ended up going down the same route as a lot of social media names personally, he naturally gets drawn to what gets the most views and that's tended to push him towards the right and generally questionable guests.

The damage can be that much worse as well because he does bring a decent amount of credibility in the eyes of many compared to someone who might always have been in that position.
What pisses me off isn't so much the misinformation pushers. It's the people who KNOW it's bullshit but go along with it because it's popular. They are the really morally bankrupt spineless types who don't stand for anything.
