But much worse assaults happen daily, just usually in much trashier eating establishments or at sporting events/concerts. Is your biggest gripe with this individual that he "was born with a silver spoon in his mouth" and is looking down at the waiter, due to the former's status? Do you believe he would have gotten off scot-free if we actually followed the justice system and blasting his name out there is the great equalizer against people with money?

i dont see what your first point has to do with anything. anyone who assaults someone like this deserves serious punishment.

my biggest gripe with him is the assault. his douchiness and his status are secnodary.

No, i dont think he would have gotten off with no punishment had charges been pressed. charges were not pressed. i see no issue with social punishment of such behavior, and think financial punishment to some degree is perfectly acceptable, regardless of his financial status. (i dont think this guy should be blacklisted from all companies for the rest of his life. but if his ability to get hired was similar to that of someone who has a felony on record, id be fine with it.)

his name being blasted is not an equalizer against people with money. it is a social punishment for his criminal behavior that i find perfectly acceptable.

Not sure about NEEDS but clips like these make you realize how many restrictions unified rules MMA actually has. Someone like Palhares throwing headbutts, soccer kicks, knees to grounded opponent and strikes to the spine would look like a Mortal Kombat fatality. Also no one would actually be willing to fight except for... Palhares and Tony Ferguson.
